As I'm not at work then I can come down mid-week
at The Crowded Crow, Upper Street, Wednesday. Hot ticket.
for Free monday lunchtime.
Raccoo-oo-oon on Friday.
at The Bad Ship, Kentish Town on Thursday
Yes, there is a fantastic one at the Good Ship on tuesday that features antifolk heroes 'Extradition Order' and electronic weirdo lovechild of Peter Cook and Syd Barrett- Um, and a very attractive dj
that should read 'Um'
somewhere...monged out stuff!
have you ever seen him live? He's amazing...I saw him winning some chavs over big style at strawberry fayre. The kind of blokes you'd think would just go on a giant beating up spree at the sight of someone not in sportsgear.
yonks ago in Notting Hill..had a minidisc and a song called "The Man's Got You Beat"
It wasn't musically bad but as a live experience there was just nothing.
hmm...maybe you caught him on a bad night?- I can't say anything I've ever seen him do has been dull...
or it's possible it wasn't my thing but certainly when I saw him he seemed to focus solely on whatever gadget he used on stage (I forget what) and didn't engage me at all.
It must be added that, even on the night, I'm sure I was in the minority in terms of my reaction and most people there seemed to enjoy it so my view should be taken within that context, but I wasn't really a fan at all.
that although I haven't heard Extradition Order I've heard a lot of good things about them.
In actual fact people tell me they sound a bit like me. But as far as I'm concerned that's a good thing...
come and check them out...it'll be great
I've just been mixing some tracks for their demo. Alastair is a crazy good lyricist
I've got a gig night there the following Tuesday (i.e. the 20th - bands are David Croneberg's Wife, Paul Hawkins & Thee Awkward Silences, L'il Lost Lou, Albino, JJ Crash and Something in the Water whilst I'm plugging the thing) so I might well come down to see another night there (and also flyer the place!)
you're not down on mon. marissa nadler's playing at the spitz.
surrounded by lots of tall people in porchester hall?! yep, that was me. :)
bobbygrindrod introduced us at on the rocks but then proceeded to totally hog the conversation so i walked off, haha.
you at kat flint then.
arf arf arf.
At Spitz on Monday.
Also ty and come down March 25th (its a sunday) I'm organising a gig where Kat Flint is headlining :)
Save me a ticket.

All the best people are leaving the Luminaire as soon as the bands finish, and going to the good ship to drink London Pride on tap and listening to me dj

What I meant to exhort you to do was add '13th March, Good Ship, Kilburn- Hand Of Glory/Extradition Order EP launch'
