I'm not that clever.
Just asking because I can't - never did my cycling proficiency at primary school and have only ridden a bike once (badly) in the last 10 years. I feel a bit of a twat not knowing, but it's not like they run "cycling schools" for inadept-adults.
I can't close one eye. That's worse.
....telescopes I have to hold one down.... It's embarrassing.

but it's like one of those childhood rites of passage, innit. And it'd be nice to explore the scenic bits like you said in your post below.
But I'm bad at it. And I find it a little difficult to get started, but once I do, I'm fine.
I don't think I know cycling cycling etiquette quite well. i.e ALWAYS on the pavement, if I can. Traffic scares the hell out of me. I also used to cycle towards traffic up until a few months ago... I thought it was safer.
I absolutely love cycling though. On a summer evening, exploring some new area, or just going through the woods. With some really decent music coming on. Perfection.

When I was younger I lived in the inner city and I had a yellow BMX which had stabilisers and I loved it.I was learning to ride then one day it got stolen from outside the house and we couldn't afford a new one so I never learnt.
