I'm thinking to go see that today.
Any good ?
I'm a bit afraid of a sci-fi movie that cost only 7 000$...
i was confused also, but if you like time travel type films with lots of confusion about parallel time lines and stuff you'll love it.
but I've seen it 3 times and I'm still not sure I understand it.
isn't it ?
It is good !
Or at least very interesting...
I really liked it, although I sort of agree with roastthemonaspit. I think you need to see it a couple of times to understand it, or at least understand it better
I think the film broke the record for most credits to one bloke as well - actor, writer, director, producer, composer etc. He did a really good job when you think of the money involved... though it's a bit dodgy that his sister played his missus :)
i'm not sure i'll ever understand this, but i rather like it.
I'm glad it's only about an hour and fifteen minutes long, otherwise I would've been completely lost. I've seen it a couple of times and I enjoyed it even though I wasn't entirely sure what was going on. I need to get it back off my mate and watch it again. He has my copy of Casshern as well, damn him.
to see Casshern !
I missed it...
story wise, a bit rubbish. Definately worth seeing though.
really quickly and isn't released on DVD yet here...
I watched it again on Saturday and it hurt my friends mind. I'm pretty sure I told some people on here to watch it and maybe hurt there minds...
This website helped me to understand it:
really it is. go see it today!
1. No comprehensible plot - not like Donnie Darko where you have to form your own interpretation of events - with this film you end up just not caring.
2. No characters or development, intereting delivery but flat as fuck acting for the main part.
3. No developed themes as such.
There is a line you cross when something becomes too clever for its own good and stops becoming art.
Primer races across this line, then goes back in time and crosses it again,
and again, and again, and....
is good film. It's nicely worked and cleverly done.
And the directors commentary on the DVD, also worthwhile.
