I was hearing on the news this morning about some terrorist Muslim cleric or something. Apparently the courts have ruled they are allowed to ship him off back to Jordan where he came from, because they don't think he'll get tortured.
It got me wondering about what the DiS massiv would think.
So just say, the police arrested some terrorist bloke, and discovered a load of evidence of plans. He was going to put a shitload of bombs on loads of buses and tubes in the morning, including ones that you'd be taking (London people). They caught him at the last minute, and if they hadn't done, hundreds, possibly thousands would have been murdered.
Now, would you as a Londoner, or an English person or whatever, rather see him:
a) be allowed to stay in Britain, serve a prison sentence and eventually be released - living in London again, and claiming benefits.
b) be deported to his country of birth where he'd face either a life in a horrible prison or a noose.
I'm not asking if you simply support the death penalty - more of a question of would you prefer our system to look after him, or let him face the consequences of his homeland's outdated andpossiblybarbaric punishments?
