i can't stop eating sushi
i make up a poem for sushi
but nothing rhyme with sushi
says £500 for robyn's course
to like sushi
for me and sushi, I can't stop, go meeeee
I want to go to Yo Sushi one day, but I don't like going to restuarants alone and my friends are sushi-hating knuckleheads.
Anyone want to go? Your treat?
But then Joey Mahone had already suggested John Belushi and I thought that was probably better than anything I could think of so I wrote that instead.
So bite me, two-thirds of U2.
I've never had sushi.
Sushi is ace. I reckon you'd like it. You eat fish, right?
I'd be up for a massed trip to Yo Sushi. Can we do it after the 27th, though? Don't get paid till then.
Definitely after the 27th.
and i'll buy you some sushi.
do you want tuna, salmon and prawn? maki and nigiri?
all of it.
ready for half five.
come to ChinchillaFest! 3 March.
tho i have been assured that i would like it. i... am not so sure.
neither, raw fish scares me.
is fine, maybe I should be a bit more adventurous!
and usually doesn't involve prawns, so you should be OK.
try it. with ginger and wasabi. after a while you can move onto sashimi which is just raw fish. no rice.
i like the rest of it though
There is also fish - particularly that which is prepared in small restaurants -that is not frozen and still contains live worms. Eating this can cause serious intestinal problems. In extreme cases, the worms will trigger anaphylaxis, a potentially lethal reaction similar to that suffered by people with nut allergies. Vicious bugs such as salmonella and even typhoid can also be passed on through sushi, largely because the flesh is eaten raw.
I like it, ore posts like this please.
I'd never leave the house.
nor particularly bothered. Some days I wish the whole fucking block would burn to the ground anyway.
I don't live in fear of stuff I've read on the internet generally. I'm sure I read a write up in the Times on this too.
doesn't have to contain fish.
just the best types must be the fishy types of sushi...
I HATE haggis
No I haven't tried it. It was a JOKE, SEE?
It should go on the "Things to try" list, right underneath sushi.
just that I've never had the chance to give it a go.
waitrose fo a vegetarian one
but I think I might wait for a bit.
but I'm too scared to buy it for lunch in case i won't like it, and then I'll have to buy another lunch.
And frankly, I'm not that bothered about this.
I made it myself (with a little help from my friend who knew what she was doing).
It was really nice.
However, I can no longer eat it, having had to endure the train from Bristol to Paddington sitting next to my big fat ex-boss gorging himself on box after box of the stuff.
did he sick it back on your face?
I care little for such an assumption.
the facts my man. Deal.
It's not all raw fish. They do Meat and stuff.
but just ate the chicken.
It'll smell all fishy and stuff. Not my scene, man.
I'll be in the pub, get me when you're done.
Actually I may go to the pub....alone. :(
It's nice to sit in the pub alone, read the paper and have a couple of drinks away from all the sushi. I love it.
can't beat it.
I love the goddam stuff. Isn't Yo Sushi dead expensive though?
I'll research some cheaper alternatives. There must be quite a few other places in London.
which is the downstairs karaoke bar.
We go in, we consume as much sushi and beer as wallets and stomachs will allow, and then we stagger out. No singing.
never going to
well maybe the vege version buts that's just rice and sauce wrapped in seaweed innit?
I'd rather have some chips
DEEP DEEP FRIED of course
Possibly doesn't make any sense. Move on.
Help ma' Boab.
is at the Japan Centre right next to Piccadilly Circus (on Piccadilly). Go inside and down to the basement. Hereupon you will find a JAPANESE SUPERMARKET with all sorts of SUPER STRANGE produce. They sell fresh sushi in little packages for you and they are rather well priced. £1.80 for 4 pieces of nigiri or £2.50 for 8 sushi rolls! My other favourite things to buy in there are the wierd sweets and wasabi peas. crispy and hot.
That sounds really good. Can you sit in there to eat, though? And is it licensed?
can sit upstairs in the restaurant but it is big bucks... downstairs is the treat. full of little japanese fellas - a whole other world. You can buy all sorts of beers down there but then you have to go eat it elsewhere. I sometimes go to the steps at the end of pall mall near the ICA. but then again my office is 50m from the Japan Centre, so i normally eat it there.
try it and tell me what you think.
in fact, EVERYONE WHO HASN'T TRIED SUSHI, TRY IT TODAY! i'm writing in capitals so as to be more persuasive
Your username's proving very appropriate for this thread, too...
i only recently discovered the Japan Centre, it's great! i love the little snacks and rice crackers they sell there, and just last weekend bought some freshly-made sushi, plus sake...yum yum.
Ate at the restaurant once, a bit pricey but well worth it. i need to go back again as last time the lady sat next to me ordered a lovely dish of rice with all sorts of sashimi and other seafood delights...i'm going to have that next time:)
going on about the japan centre but i've yet to try the food there.
wasabi on tottenham court road is good also, and cheap.
got some in golders green....a korean supermarket.
I went to yo sushi for first time this year.
We ate all vegetarian stuff.....you get to pay £1.65 then get unlimited miso....nice miso too, with tofu and loads of seaweed.
If something on the menu isnt on the conveyor belt then you can always ask for them to make it......its really fun
miso misooo, fighting in the dojo, miso misoooo - oriental prince in the land of soup
