it's taken me six months, but it was worth it.
or was it?
I'm on about 1300 and that's taken me (calculates)....27 months. You prolific posters really piss me off.
surely the quality of posts has suffered.
it's just when im home i am on for about 12 hours every day and when i'm at school im on zero hours every day.
is your username a little misleading?
i log on at mid-day and then don't logg of until at least 2 or three. The extra two hours is usually breaks and going for a walk. I'm back to school tommorow though. I always get withdrawal for the first few days, but am not bothered afterwards. I usually come on at arounr 2200hrs at school, but the god damn interent times out at 2235 at school.
eight existing 100% boarding schools in the country and the last existing military school.
i can only imagine the military indoctrination that goes on in a place like that.
not to mention the buggery.
and yes 10 years ago they introduced girls in......200 girls 300 boys.
I love it personally.
when u leave?
i have a 2 day thing at royal signals in blanford in a couple of months and i am being put forward for a scholarship.
don't die for some fucker like blair.
i intend on doing the job that i have to do....effectively it is the army now making decisions in the war, blair was the guy who sent us there and is keeping us there....afghanistan included and the army have to make their own decisions in order to make it work and for us to survive and complete tasks.
if it's what you want to do.
(personally it's my idea of hell and i cannot understand why someone would join up, unless the country was being invaded).
at least there is one person on here that wishes me well, because it is what i want to do, usually i'm faced with people telling me how much they think it is pointless and i see and can understand their views and sometimes their views are better and more justified than mine, but it's good to see someone is wishing me luck.
My mate has just passed out. He's going army intel. Seeing as I also do a job which is oft looked down upon, I respect anyone who is willing to do it. Except for the twats who bullied me at school and get off on it as a masculine power trip.
much respect for your friend who has done what is but a dream for me, and a distant one at that. I have a fair few connections, through school and my father. My dad gives presentations to a room full of generals , appointed by the army. He is a civi though. Secondly he teaches colonel Chris Manning, hea pilot of the Army who incidentally was in charge of the troops in Afghanistan in 2005. Plus i know a couple of lieut.Colonels personally aswell, one of which is my advisor and hooks me up.lol
I have a friend that wants to go down a similar route and he always tells me how the army offers a lot of other opportunities that we don't normally hear about, particularly 'civi' career wise.
after forces, mainly due to dicipline etc. My dad left the navy at 30 and got some shitty job now he is a barrister.
Police always welcome ex forces so long as they're not nutters.
basically every teacher at my school is ex-officer. My housemaster is ex-captain and i think the highest we have is a lieut.colonel.....our new headmaster next year is a General.
willingness to mindlessly obey orders and carry them out efficiently without asking questions.
to me, this is surrendering and betraying your self.
it should be different for officers though. Perhaps because they were the ones giving the orders, i'm not sure? I intend on retiring in the army at 55 with a big pension.
calm down!! :-)
what was the highlight
to PLEASE FUCKING DIE by alcxxk, sparking a debate on the rights and wrongs of wishing death on someone for expressing their hatred of rnb music.
