or, to a lesser extent, ever "appeared" in court?
or, got a criminal record (no jokes about eternal singles please)?
been in court though
I was convicted so I guess I have a criminal record.
It was 11 years ago though.
and i'm eternally single
the first 2 above were just to do with visiting them while i was a law student. the 3rd thing above is to do with being a massive loser.
he was removed ten minutes later.
was probably trying to burn it down.
did you call the fire brigade?
someones house (i was 12) and they were fairly wealthy and they had these panic alarms all around the house and we were leaving the house so i pressed it.....big fuck off alarms and lights flashing everywhere, it was the funniest thing!!! then within about 10 minutes the police were here and there was like a huge squad of them!! it was utter madness, all the trafic down the seafront was jammed due to the police needing to get through. They drove me home, they just drove me home and they were bullshitting about how i could have been taken to a young offenders institute.
Closest I've had is an £80 fixed penalty. I was skint at the time too :(
I have stolen some penny sweets, that's it. and a bit of mild arson (or more accurately accomplice to).
unless the fuzz get involved.
should have taken my true calling in life.
you still haven't said what your fine was for though
That's all you're getting.
was it at some sort of protest about coffee-farmers' rights?
I could feel proud of that. I was bursting for a piss - 1 in the morning, nobody around, went down an alleyway thinking "this can't do any harm" - and halfway through, a police van pulls up. Must have been a quiet night.
Ive never known anyone who has actually been caught for that. well done.
Unlucky or what.
or did you have to get dressed mid-stream.
did they have a torch and say "ello, ello, ello, what do we have here then boys?"
and less cliched?
It was fairly dignified. They just stopped at the end of the alleyway and waited for me to finish and come out.
Now THAT's unlucky.
imprisoned for buggery
Kilmainham Jail where they shot James Connolly, and ooh! the Italian Job had scenes shot there. amazing! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilmainham_Gaol
i've seen two murder trials, when i was doing work experience with my uncle. one was a random one, the other was the trial of the murderers of Veronica Guerin.
not going to jail
strangeways in Manchester a few times. Absolutely vile place. Full of convicts.
and a jail called 'strangeways'?!?!?
i joined the independent monitoring board last summer as something to do. not much fun, really.
and it USED to be called Strangeways back in the day. Now it's simply called HMP Manchester. Booooring.
i never being in the big house, never want to.
I have a perfectly clean criminal record.
connaught barracks, which is right nest to my school into an open prison, where murderers at the end of their sentence would be allowed to roam free where we were, but the general dude for the school went nuts, so it's not happening anymore.
That was all though.
but i won't have far to move when i am naughty.
With my Sociology class, it was one in London. Hah, can't remember what it's called.
Look, there's me, right at the back with the hat on.
Some solicitor dude called us northern cunts as we were waiting to go in. Should have hit him or summat.
I've never been to Paris :(
both when i was 17 (lol) - once for smoking weed on the way home after a pub crawl and once for smoking weed on the way home from school. Oh well, get it all out of the way when you're young, that's what I say!! im perfect now tho. obvs.
when you were 17?
school when you're 15/16, yeah?
not if you stay on until 6th year, when the leaving age is 17/18.
Sixth Form College, or at least it is where I'm from...
my sixth form was part of my high school, so i was there until i was almost 18.
'6th form college' is an alien concept to me. perhaps that does not exist in scotchland.
who went to the same school call the two years of sixth form we did "college" but that's just to look cool in front of kids who went to an actual sixth form college...
TWO years of sixth form? oh now i'm just getting really confused. shirley the years go 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. stupid english schools.
I was in Sixth Form college for two years. But it was just college...
a levels take two years. years 12 & 13. though when the years were numbered 1,2,3,4,5,6, 'sixth form' included both 17 and (almost-)18 year olds. but that numbering system's been dead and buried for ages. the name 'sixth form' is left over cos 'years 12 & 13' sounds silly ;)
but I did them at a college... I think.
loads of people do them at a college. but some a-level programs are integrated into local high schools. though we didn't have to wear uniform, thank god, and we had a seperate little building to hang out in. same teachers and classrooms tho, y'see.
a levels... :-P
1yr AS Level, 1 yr A2 Level ?!? i got 4. wang!
gotta smoke weed somewhere when youre 17!?!? I didn't really get arrested the second tme - i totally blagged it that i had finished it and how could they prove it was buds?!? face.
I've been in court, but not for anything I did.
I've been given a row from the police many times, helping someone smash a lamp post, being one of eight in a car that took five with two drunk drivers (yeah, two...), but usually just for parties getting a bit out of hand.
Never been convicted of anything though.
One of my friends did get taken to a police station the other day, he was accused of sexual assault, but he wasn't charged. I found it hilarious. Basicly we were out in Glasgow (on a week night), a bit drunkered and he pulls down the skinny jeans of another mate. Apparently that's sexual abuse nowadays. I think there mustn't have been much crime for them to be seeing to that evening.
my mums spent the night in a cell, only for participating in a demonstration when she was younger.
but never been on the receiving end of the judicial system.
She deserved it
for graffiti when I was 12/13 and had to pay a £90 fine but I assume that's been wiped clean now.
