Should take along some reading material? It looks like that kind of film.
fuck knows if you will or not.
bleak as 21 Grams. i left the cinema after that feeling veeeeery hollow.
I still haven't seen "The Last King of Scotland". Might go this evening if there's a late showing.
Do it. Forrest Whitaker gets results.
And that McAvoy kid is strangely adept at playing smug tosspots who you kinda don't want to get killed, just lightly maimed.
Looking forward to it.
Knave, Club, Penthouse...
I imagine going to the cinema with Stealthy is a lot like going with Travis Bickle, though I can't quite put my finger on why.
I was enjoying imagining Stealthy sat happily reading his well thumbed copy of Pride and Prejudice.
It's a compelling image...
gets a big, fat 'meh' from me. It feels really clumsily done in comparison to Amores Perros and 21 Grams.
Well, currently, I'm reading this:
The first is an in depth look at how constitutional changes in the state (from the princely states of rennaissance Europe to the nation-states of the Long War of 1914 onwards) historically have affected the way they conduct themselves during periods of war and peace and how that might affect our lives in the future.
The second is a book where you have to find some fucking dude in a bobble hat - and I'm rubbish at it.
I got all my bases covered.
'Where's Wally?'. Those books are amazing. You don't really technically 'read' them though. I'm pretty good at finding the illusive Wally.
yeah. My bad. I hold my hands up.
