a ridiculous diet
ok, so last summer, my mum started a diet, which involved eating....nothing. for 4 months. all she had was some powdered soups, which apparently contained all the nutrients she needed. all you are allowed to drink is water. she also had to attent a weekly "councelling" session, where she was told how eating was an addiction.
now, my mum is 56, and although not "skinny", certainly wasnt fat, about a size 14 probably. for a 56 year old woman whos had 4 kids, this isnt bad, i wouldnt think. all the people in the "class", were massively obese! counselling? eating is an addiction?
however, she did lose about 3 stone, and IS a lot happier, and is now eating food again.
my sister is now on it, as are 2 of my cousins.
oh, and its costs about £300 a month
