Right so I won my item and realised I couldn't pay through PayPal, GAY. So OK, I can send them a cheque....but the seller sent me their bank details, which were: Bank Name, Name, Sort Code, and Account Number. So I went to pay through e-banking, but all it wants is Sort Code, account number, and "their reference". What's this? Is it the bank name, or name or something? Under help it came up with:
Their Reference: If you are paying a bill, enter the reference supplied by the company you are paying. This can normally be found on the back of your bill. If you are making a payment into a savings account at a building society or former building society, the reference number will usually be the roll number (account number on the savings book). Please check the details of the account number and sort code directly with the person you are paying.
ALSOOO, will this be just as safe as sending a cheque? Money isn't going to flood out of my account is it? THANKYOU!
