Suprisingly left out Best from 6 AND Geordan Murphy
come on in the second half and be even more of a maniac than usual (although i think he deserved a start).
Whatever you think of O'Gara, he better not get injured because I'm more relaiable than Paddy Wallace.
...that Stringer is STILL getting picked
Mr one dimensional Scrum half. Peel will destroy him
had a lack of options there. Hopefully Boss will prove to eb the answer.
That said, Stringer has NEVER let Ireland down. He might not be the most talented but he works his arse off and is about 8 times the defender O'G is.
A scrum half who spots a gap is a danger and keeps the back row honest.
Boss does it every time. A tad predictable.
Yeah Stringer's not the best player in the world, but as said above he runs himself into the ground. And whilst Peel is the best scrummie in Europe, Ireland have a better back row and a better tight five. Hard to destroy someone on the back foot.
Ryan Jones and Martyn Williams are playing well and certainly match Leamy and wallace. Easterby just has the edge over our number 6.
Wales front row I think also edges Ireland, our weakness in the pack is our 2nd row.
I think its going to be a very tight game, certainly not like last year in Dublin
but I'll be honest, I've never rated Williams. He had a purple patch during 2005 and has been riding it ever since. He does everything a 7 should, but he just lacks something for me.
Leamy vs Jones is going to be a hell of a clash tho.
His one weakness is he can be a little out-muscled at the breakdown area sometimes. But you watch him during a game, and he ALWAYS first to the tackle area. He is quick, skillful, and a great pair of hands
In my opinion he is UNDER-RATED
That's a good thing
I predict a win for Wales on Saturday
Plus I was partly doing a bit of trolling - I'd had a bad day at the orifice
I visited the kitten sanctuary he runs and he's very nice to his gran.
Let me know where that is and I'll pop along
The ROG hatred I can't understand. The BOD one, fair game, but ROG! The man's an angel! And a fine first five eighth.
incapabable of ever pissing anything.
We have a good side but will probably bottle it.
and I rarely bet.
but then I re watched the highlights of the Australia game over lunch. The ball retention, the support running, the handling and tackling - these aren't one off things that went right, it's the mark of a team that's played together for a while and players who have confidence in each other.
We could actually be the real deal this year.
