preferably not one that plays bad and loud house music and is full of tossers.
The Endurance, but there is one tosser I know who goes there...
Umm.... Poland Street is good..............
What is it for?
The Old Coffee House on Beak Street
The Red Lion on Kingly Street
The Ship on Wardour Street
There are lots of good old man pubs in Soho.
The Red Lion is great too.
But they are closing down The Ship!
I was probably loud and obnoxious.
You probably want to stay away from there for a while, Mr. _k
that happened a number of times over the summer, and they did ban us. a lot of those times even involved bamos shouting at agnes, the hot barmaid, about how hot she was.
Although she did get another job elsewhere. Coincedence? I think not. Mmm, Agnes...
i used to work with was invited to her leaving party.
he didn't go!
What's your favourite pub in Leeds? I'm going to go and moon everyone in it and get you barred.
on... wardour st? i think.
I second the votes for Red Lion and Coffee House.
for me to look like i know the area when my friends from up north come down...
The Red Lion!
on Beak St, coz it's got nice seats.
The Sun and 13 Cantons.
I quite like it there..
It's a bit loud tho.
it's overrated! OVERRATED I TELL THEE!
assembly now 7"s to send you. when they turn up.
i was wondering where they were.... :)
or the Red Lion.
Maybe it's because we three are the coolest, perchance?
Don't get pedantic with me.
'yeah right whatever'
easy easy easy
The John Snow or The Ship
if you want to pay £1.60 for ANY DRINK, YES ANY DRINK, find your inner homosexuality and go to GAY. The music is shite, the men carry man bags but you can get into a state then move on to ROCK (RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWRRRRRR) down the road to the Crowbar. But then again the rowbar only sells cans. I want pints dammit, PINTS!
I miss the Intrepid Fox :(
Or or or Duke of Wellington, 2 cocktails strong ones) for a fiver.
Actually there's a rather nice pub up the road i Tott ourt Road called 'The Bradley Spanish Pub'. It has an old juk bo which boasts the likes of Miles Davis to Joy Division.
I'm in the same cheap ass interet cafe that has sticky kebards
tiny and smokey but it's lovely, get there early for a seat.
not cheap, but a) good chance of running into bamos, b) its pretty, c) painting on the wall of a naked lady who looks a bit like fihiki but not much d) letters on the wall from david beckham (including this paraphrased quote: "training was very hard today because we had to run 8 miles and that was quite hard")
AT 2: the red lion
sometimes a bit of a shit to get a seat, and people will fuck off and play darts and darts is gay and gets in the way of drinking. BUT a lovely place, with samuel smiths prices. its dear to my heart
AND NEW IN AT 1: the john snow
only been there once, but seemed less busy than the red lion, same Samuel Smiths drinks prices, a weird layout, funny little doors you have to duck under - its an alcoholic assault course. im expecting some good times there in the future. also, one of the barmaids seemed to like me.
