Why didn't i now how to make these until yesterday? They are so easy. What do you put in yours?
which makes me a BETTER COOK than gordon ramsay. i saw him make an omlette on the f word, and he didnt put ANYTHING in his apart from seasoning. RUBBISH!
robyn's right about something. she probably doesn't put enough cheese in though. or bacon.
there would be bacon involved.
at the moment, I am enjoying brie in my omelettes.
Generally frying stuff and then chucking it in the omelette is a winner.
Also; omelette sandwich = the sex.
maybe some bacon, and some mushrooms. I also put some 'erbs in the eggy goodness.
If my mum makes it, I have some potato in their too, but my culinary skills haven't progressed as far as frying/boiling/whatever potatoes yet.
are the utter sex.
Especially after a heavy night. Sigh. Yay for carbs!
but omelettes i can stand..
I like mine plain, possibly because i'm lazy.

As I'm ill it seems like good food to have. I have cheese and mushroom. What is the consensus on the amount of eggs that should be used? I'd say 3 but then that means I'll have 2 poached eggs on toast another day and be left with one egg.
But then if they're only medium, I'd say have 3 poached eggs as well. So basically, you're screwed.
There's too many people in my kitchen at the moment.
chopped smoked ham
quartered fresh mushrooms
salt & pepper
in that order
which is onion.
We had mushroom, onion and cheese one last night yumbo
between an omlette and a fritata? eggs + frying pan must surely equal the same result......
An omlette is slightly different...
I prefer omlettes. ALthough made one the other night which was GROSS. I still haven't perfected making the perfect omlette... I blame my mother.
sounds interesting..... omlettes are good, but the ones they make on cooking programmes seem to be all gooey and runny still. I have to flip mine rather than fold mine due to my inconquerable fear of runny egg.......
you mix the egg in so it all cooks in 2 minutes..fritatta you cook slowly so egg sets, or finsih off under the grill...
memories of a rubbish egg advert are coming back to me now involving someone pulling a "courgette fritata" from under the grill. Well thats dinner sorted tonight anyway!!
Fritata a la Brainlove. Brilliant.
And whacked under the grill for a crispy top.
i would just put cheese in them. nothing else.
how to make an omelette?
it's pretty easy...do you want to know?
eggs+Frying pan+dont make a fritata=omlette! yay!!
3 eggs, beat them
heat pan, put in butter/oil
pour in eggs, wait until bottom has set then lift edges and tilt so raw mix goes under, keep doing this until is cooked, then add cheese..melts in a minute
best eaten with toast and marmite
is good for me..but marmite combined with the oozey cheese is yuuuuuuummm
so my next two dinners are to be Fritata a la brainlove, and omlette a la slicky. Its a full on DiS feast!!!
almost certainly mess that up.
i do quite like them when they're overloaded with cheese but have only ever eaten 2 when cooked by my old flatmate, i have a bit of a hatred of egg from my childhood. i should just give up and eat the damn things.
bacon and cheese sounds ideal.
how do you actually make them?
