i was after all very very drunk
whilst dancing to Das Wunderlust.
whilst dancing to Das Wanderlust
you were like "WOAH! HI! KLAIRE! WITH A K! WOAH!" and i smiled broadly (as i do) and shook your hand then threw caution to the wind and gave you a hug.
the boys were so sweaty!
"you know john, i'm straight, but y'know, if i was gay, and i'm not, but if i was: i would."
i wish i'd spoken to him more! he was talking about throwing stars and squirrels with someone else apparently. damn it
that story is far too long and involved for me to have tried.
I had the whole skinning a squirrel epiphany. You=amazing.
take advantage of the opportunity.
when i arrived at 6:30 you kept shouting "i've PEAKED TOO EARLY!".
are you lot just having me on?
WoW i met cadd....he was much taller than i expected, he squirted something revolting in my mouth.....and pv she was great.....and much tougher than i expected (she was dancing roughly and punched me in the face several times
a shell of twee.
was a pleasure to meet you creaky!
was the fact that he showed ZERO signs of a hangover when I ferried him back to his car the next morning.
We wouldn't have let him drive if he had been.
recollection of at all.
Other things are very clear.
My foot really hurts, I shouldnt have carried on trying to dance.
Bamos looked resplendant, in his ivory dj tower.
Monkeynuts.....I was soo pleased to meet, shame I didnt get to talk to him much..I think.
i at least have a genuine reason for not remembering everyone.
Do you remember talking to me and Cera about Runswick Bay?
And when on the stage just shouting "I'M REALLY OLD" into my ear when Maximo Park were playing?
then played some great stuff to make up for it.
Like playing Apply Some Pressure which is a million times better than Graffiti, even though no other DJs seem to realise this.
is easily better than Griffiti.
Everyone knows that, surely?
but i have a perfectly balanced love for the two
Everyone seems to play Graffiti. I don't know why.
bamos almost played that too. His DJ skillz are legendary.
even drunkeness cant block out the horror of 'do it for ingland, INGERLAND'
cos my foot was throbbing, I realised that my danse phase that night was over as I looked over a see of young men bobbing up and down to a series of punkish sounding songs none of which I seemed to recognise.
I was having a wistful moment standing on stage viewing the youth and thinking
"my prime is fading.....the future belongs to all these young men full of vigour and enthusiasm and healthy knees"
