Just watched episode 1.
I hope Sky don't fuck up the scheduling of this one, I don't want to miss this.
Did no-one else catch this?
That depresses me, as it will probably mean I will be the only one that gets obsessed by it, and will have no-one to talk to about it in the pub.
About a cop who discovers a key that opens any door in the world, and they all lead to the same motel room. The Objects from the motel room have become the focus of a secret cult, as they all have special powers (a watch can hard-boil and egg, a bus-pass can make people dissapear, only to re-appear in the some place else, a pen can electrocute people, and a clock has mysterious powers as yet unknown). The cop's daughter got mixed up, went into the room, and the door closed, and now she has dissapeared, so he has to find her again.
it's not on TV Links :-(
See my time travel / astral projection type thread.
This makes perfect white wined good night bed time watching.
have you seen heroes yet? i remember you started the thread which made me watch it, i love it.
about people who all discover they have super powers like flying n time travel n stuff
the question that decides whether i seek it out:
are there any fitties in it?
maybe a couple
i think it started again in 'The States' the other days. It's rather good! From a comic-book point of view though it's nothing groundbreaking. A lot of simillar ideas covered in X Men (obviously) and an ace series called Rising Stars that was written by the guy who did Babylon Five. But yes, I like it. Peter Petrelli has an emo haircut, and Hiro is cool.
I've also been getting into the Battlestar Galactica remake, it's okay.
I <3 TV Links.
I can't get the Lost Series 2 links to load up properly :-(
I lost track of it on TV after Episode 15 because I moved house, and went on holiday, and then missed too many episodes to catch up.
the other day. the 'heroes' are starting to come together. it does cover quite common ground but does it quite well i think, the special effects are not bad for a tv show either. i like the characters i think more than anything, apart from the indian guy, hes just rubbish.
to bring them together, instead of being a character in his own right.
But yes, I do like it. I'm gay for super-hero fiction basically. Heroes is better than the majority of films there've been made of Marvel comics.
I have never heard of it until now:
Now I want to OWN the fucker.
I might attempt to watch some on alluc later.
ALSO theo while i have u here could you possibly give me some ideas as to why when i try and load a film fro that film website it just loads and loads and never comes on? i really want to watch 'a cinderella story' cos im cool.
but it worked for the Lost Room bit I checked. Maybe the source isn't there or else it's a huge file that it's trying to buffer.
Probably just broken.
i nearly swithed it off. But once it started talking about there being other objects, and they all do different things. Well, i was hooked. This is gonna turn out to be an amazing show.
that it's only a mini-series.
I was hoping for the full 24.
Maybe The Sci Fi channel will commission more if it's popular.
ive only watched the first two so far, but why theyre not expanding this into a full series ill never know, its proper good sci-fi.
