there's a case to be made for the exemption. adopting a child does NOT come under 'goods, facilities and services'.
i point that out less to be legalistic and more to emphasise that you can get into a lot of trouble by making an idol out of the consistent and the easily codifiable when talking about rights.
if homosexual couples are allowed to have children then it would be more common than it is now (obviously) therefore it will not be as difficult for children to accept, there will be more children with homosexual parents. saying that something should not be allowed to be common because it isn't common is very, very stupid.
Kids get picked on for anything in primary school. The fact that Chris McAllister, 6, Newquay may be the deciding factor in allowing gay couples to adopt is a new silly low for the UK.
