So Chelsea for the league then?
Why do their fans chant that moronic "who are ya?" when they're still 4th and Man Utd are STILL 1st?!?
They'd better enjoy it, looking at their fixtures there's a rather northern look to it... I wouldn't be surprised if they get walloped by the unholy trinity of Bolton, Middlesborough and Man City!
I don't even support Arsenal but still, brilliant
and that was just what Mr Mourinho (or whoever will be in charge next week) ordered.
I was meaning to put money on arsenal winning but I got up too late.
Man U - Arsenal games are always good. And unpredictable.
how arsenal celebrated when the final whistle went, like they'd just won the fuckin league. they're gonna get nothing from the season, and will be lucky to get a place in the Champions League. If the most they have to cheer about is beating us twice, then thats pretty sad state of affairs.
Lucky chelsea lost though, 6 points clear will do I 'spose
Still, Blood Brothers cancelling tonight, and United losing....what a shitty weekend.
and a pretty great turnaround
they're allowed to celebrate, isn't football meant to be fun?
they're only 6 behind Chelsea now
having scored two late goals against the best team in the league to win the match
doesn't mean that's all they have to cheer about. They're good. They didn't give up, you could see in the players' body language once they got the equaliser they went for it, whereas you put on a left back.
They wouldn't be "lucky" to get a champions league spot at all.
In the sense that they are one of 4 teams in the league who have even the remotest chance of getting a champions league spot - at least last season Blackburn and Spurs made a decent stab at it but its just a question of the order of the top 4 now.
Which will be:
2. Man U
dagenham & redbridge
it was a pretty scrappy game, and we made some admittedly nasty tackles.
and what was henry's little dance about?? that guy is one arrogant little tool. and the cry for a penalty in the first half was nowhere near!
could have been worse, like I say, we've been lucky with the chelsea result. but I think we definitely deserved a draw, beans-means-heinze was put on to push the others forward, but was too little too late by then.
I don't think he is arrogant at all.
there's no way they outplayed you over 90 minutes but they scored more goals than you. Simple as that.
Ronaldo or Rooney would've been just as smug as Henry in the same circumstances I reckon.
reckon they outplayed us for 90 minutes, but we should've done more to hold the draw at least.
think rooney is suffering from some sort of confidence crisis at the moment, and as for playing him on the left....speechless.
Although he was unlucky not to score with that dipping shot from just outside the box. I think with Rooney it's not a massive concern if he's not scoring every other game because he contributes so much in other areas. And you have Ronaldo/Scholes/Saha/Larsson (potentially) to score regularly.
I'm looking forward to Larsson getting properly into the swing of things. I thought Scholes was a bit quiet today though. And I always feel happier with Solskjaer on the bench, he's such a class player and you can rely on him to turn things around in the last ten minutes.
It WAS a penalty in the first half Arsenal DID outplay you and Henry is the best player in the world, his arrogance is justified and he seems like a pretty funny alright bloke.
ok it was a penalty, but they didnt uotplay us, they didnt even trouble van der ssr til about 70 mins in, i thought we looked pretty comfortable until the last 10 mins
It was fairly even but I wasn't saying to you anyway really. It annoyed me that hell85 said it wasn't a penalty it's one thing being biased another not acknowledging the truth.
it was no way a penalty, giggs was going for the ball, arsenal played as well as us, and as for henry being the best player in the world, very doubtful and would not excuse his arrogance.
but I probably am biased, but theres not a lot I can do about that.
he just did a little dance.
RONALDO fer fecksake. That yellow card thing was hilarious.
Yes.....but he didn't get it.
Quick! Back to the rule book! 'going for the ball, missing by a mile and taking out a player' isn't allowed in football...
And I love the fact that the only people in this country who refuse to accept that Henry is a) bloody amazing and b) probably one of the fairest, most honest men in football are either Man Utd, Chelsea or Spurs fans...
is the best player in the world? bollocks. he has no balls, whatsoever.
he's a bit of a drama queen at times but he's fantastic. at least he's spirited rather than henry, who is so boring and safe.
Ronaldo is in unbelievable form at the moment. Henry and Gerrard are both better.
i'll admit that gerrard is very good, but i'm not having any of this henry rubbish. thank you.
and i wasn't particularly impressed.
he doesn't do enough for my liking, not enough effort. there's nothing exciting about him. unlike ronaldo.
can pretty much beat a team by himself. He might not do the most work for a team but he only needs the ball once to win a match. It is also very very exciting to see him with the ball everytime he gets it I think he is going to do something World Class.
your use of capitals there was the most interesting thing about that comment.
your use of capitals was not great either. Tool.
especially about grammar.
i just liked the capital e for exciting. calm down.
started bad and got better and better. I watched it with a couple of Arsenal fans, I was pretty happy for them.
Arsenal seemed a bit more fluid though, and pushed for the win so good on em.
Man Utd seemed a bit confused up front, Larsson was getting into good positions but not getting enough balls. I guess they're still getting used to fitting him in though.
with ronaldo, though that guy has taken a lot of grief this season, and handled it pretty well (bias may be coming through again here).
we need to work out positions with larsson as soon as, we've only got him for three months, and he's such a quality player he could really give us the edge needed towards the end of the season.
Ronaldo is VILE.
he can be cocky at times, and I don't support his actions in the world cup, but we're back to premiership now, and my loyalties revert to united.
the lad's got some immense speed on him. hey, bobby, whats french for I can outrun any player on the pitch?
I assisted a goal and scored a goal to beat Manchester United?
finish the season with nothing to show for it?
You are starting to make me want Chelsea to win the league again >:-(.
(thank you Henry and Arteta) 6th place in the DiS league now. I am going to winnit.
Screw Scott Parker :@
And Phil Neville. heh.
Good choice though, Downing assists the majority of our goals...
:@ I hope Johnson is injured (not to bad obviously) Anichebe was put in my team last week.
in the last 4 games.
my heart bleeds for him
Means Chelsea still have the League to play for so won't be so bothered in the FA Cup next week.
Perfectly rational people suddenly becoming utterly partisan to the point of no-logic. :D
I'd like to see Arsenal do well - they're my home team.
Because we're so utterly terrible at the moment there's no way we can argue that we're good.
And we have no interest in the Premier League whatsoever, because even if we get there we'll only be in it for a season...
Come on the Ipswich...
