I've just eaten a whole packet of Tim Tams

Rose-Kitten [Edit] [Delete] 14 replies 18:04, 17 January '07

Seriously. Nine in the packet. NINE!
I feel quite sick now.
I had not eaten Tim Tams for about four years (they are an Australian biscuit, like Penguins in appearance but about a gazillion times tastier).

I feel sick.

  • No.. they don't... two biscuit pieces of chocolate

jammed together with a really nice kind of mixture which is chocolatey icing... and dipped in milk chocolate.

They look like penguins but are nay of that breed.

    • every Australian raves about Tim Tams

apparently you can bite off both ends and make an exciting straw for drinking tea/coffe/hot drink of your choice.

      • yeah, i didn't do this - i just ate the whole box

slowly on the central line on the way home, finishing the last one here in my room...

what you describe, monpot, is called a TIM TAM SLAM.

I haven't done one - too messy............. I like to keep my fingers clean mostly.......

          • they fucking ARE NOT penguins

they taste very very different, I'll tell you.

and yeah, i am a fattie... and i was making up for last night, totally... everything in excess and hedonism at it's best.... you know how it is.....?

            • my ex girlfriend who had

an Australia obsession for some reason bought them once from Tescos. Maybe the Tescos ones are just repackaged Penguins but they tasted EXACTLY THE SAME.

            • what happened to the DETOX?

not that i care, eat as much as you want :-)

              monpot @Rose-Kitten | 17 Jan '07, 19:21 | X
              • I failed miserably at the detox

                oh yes.
                all aspects...
                Sigh..
I'm not boozing anywhere near as much tho, which was the main thing... and eating well, despite the tim tam episode then.

OH YEAH, you eventually COULD buy Tim Tams from Tesco - especially in the super store sized ones... but no, they are not penguins.

                Trust me.

      • Oh

I knew someone who said they were the best and a bit tingly or fizzy.
