but basically, my "point" is that some of his good films are very very very good, and some of his bad films are REALLY FUCKING BAD, but its not even like theres a decline or anything. he just goes between awesome films and shit films like some kind of seedy polygamist.
anyone have any views on him? explanations for his erraticness?
