You must watch Countdown on Monday...
New Countdown host Des O'Connor got more than he bargained for when 11-year-old Bradley Cates made his debut on the Channel 4 show.
The youngster's first appearance on the quiz will be screened on Monday.
TV bosses are keeping tight-lipped about how far he goes in his attempt to win the Countdown crown.
But Bradley, from Southport, Merseyside, put co-host and numbers wizard Carol Vorderman, 46, to shame by working out the answer to a maths question which Vorderman could not solve herself.
What's more, he made O'Connor, 75, blush when he said he did not want to take home one of the crooner's records as a gift following his appearance on the show.
The schoolboy even corrected O'Connor on his pronunciation of gllideyon, an anagram of yodelling, during a teatime teaser game in the advert break.
Vorderman said of the youngster's appearance on the show: "Bradley never stops smiling. He looks like an angel.
"Des and I loved him on sight...but when I asked him if he wanted one of Des' records as a present he shouted out 'no'... It was very funny.
Bradley is a keen Everton supporter and his ambition is to be an accountant, while his hobbies include quiz programmes and sports.
The youngster's mother Caroline Wood, 36, said: "He did really, really well. Des was really good with him. It was funny when he worked out the sum which Carol didn't get.
