tough I know, because Britain churns out a lot. But for me, its 'My Hero'. Godawful.
Now you go.
Sex in the city.
Or Will and Grace
then it got shit, then shitter.
Green Green Grass (or whatever it's called) - the one with Boycie from Only Fools & Horses, has to be one of the worstest.
quite like my hero.
i also thought the IT crowd was fucking dreadful.
Birds of a Feather
My Hero seconded
we have a winner. keeping up appearances, how could i forget?
3 pints of lager and a packet of crisps?
I HATE Ralf Little.
it's still shit
There was a medical one with Adrian Edmondson. That was the worst.
Gimme Gimme Gimme
its actually rather good.
plus i fancy ralf little.
the one. Awful.
I hate that too. Along with the other one Paramount always put on, what's it called...
such a rip off of friends. which was also fucking atrocious.
However, i'd put 'Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps' above it in the awfulness league...that programme makes me want to swear a lot and do horrible things to the TV.
but its not. its shit.
that's ran for more than one season
and while we're at it, 2 pints is BARELY WATCHABLE.
Awesome in it's badness
i've been waiting YEARS to see this.
and gave up
The IT Crowd
Two Pints of Lager
Green Green Grass
Gimme Gimme Gimme
That one with the... [deep breath] Multi-racial Brummie step-family who also have a kid with Downs who 'hilariously' commentates on all their foibles.
It's so shit, it passed through shit, went into 'so-shit-it's-ironically-good', got ejected from that within seconds and wound up in 'we-shall-never-speak-of-this-again'.
It is the televisual equivilent of the great ethnic cleansing of Volhynia. Yes, I know, you think it can't possibly have been as bad as that - but it was.
It's like they were ticking so many boxes, they lost concentration and ticked the one marked "unwatchable filth".
(the title that is, not the sitcom)
i remember that! woah it was awful.
that actually conclusively wins.
The IT crowd was pretty appalling too.
but My Hero can be depressing, Green Green Grass is for the over-60s, I find The Office butt-clenchingly painful to watch and don't derive any pleasure from it even though it is funny in a way...
'Waiting for God' was pretty crap.
Bring back 'World of Pub' with Kevin Eldon and Peter Serafinowicz! That was great!
BIRDS OF A FEATHER.
I have met Marks and Gran numerous times because I used to attend a writing and acting group of which they were the presidents. Everyone in the group held them in reverence. I did not.
I remember the vomiting episode. Class class class class CLASS! It's not on DVD, is it?
from time to time.
Thin Blue Line? Utter garbage.
agreed on the Thin Blue Line; painful. :(
was decent enough if only for Detective Grim
He was decent, but the rest of it was bumcrisps.
men behaving badly was great, the one with the blow up doll, the one where they go raving....dear god.
at the memory of the raving one. Gary dancing to jungle in the pub is genuinely hilarious.
max and paddys road to nowhere
Birds of a feather
When will people realise Victoria Wood IS NOT FUNNY.
M and P's R to N took the 'let's be Northern and Funny' formula and went way too far with it, resulting in something that was annoying and not really funny at all.
he is an unfunny person. someone should tell him this.
was actually GOOD. I used to like you doubtful!
men behaving badly and saxondale. In exactly which universe is that considered 'right'?
you're wrong anyway.
then make my nipple stop hurting!
is it wrong that i lol?
dinnerladies. that was shite.
Saxondale had some funny moments.
every bbc1 sitcom ever
the it crowd
as a kid. brilliant show
Anyone who's seen it cannot fail to agree. Objectively speaking, it is the worst sitcom ever.
yes it was terrible, but i found it strangely watchable...
...was that the show that used to be on late night ITV where they had like a haunted car and some other weird stuff?
It wasn't funny in the slightest yet I still found it strangely watchable...
My Family too. Loads of '70s crap.
war at home
there are probably loads, I don't think I've done enough research.
