at the moment im leaning towards 'fuck it why should i'
im innocent though, police are fuckwits
but not too posh, you want to come across as the nice guy, not the wanker guy
I had insurance. Lost the certificate, asked for a new one, didn't arrive in the 7 days, police said fine we will write to you bring it in then, then a court summons arrived, fuckwits :(
It sounds like you have a pretty good defence but you ought to show respect to the court and not try to antagonise anyone. Also if you look sensible and innocent you'll get more respect.
took it in with my liscense earlier
want you to go to Court? Or will they just formally drop the case?
can we just sort it now I dont want to waste anyones time, and they said it's too late it has to go to court. I am well making a complaint against the police twice they told me it was ok and what else could I have done I ordered a new one as soon as I could fuckwits
I used to work at solicitors and this happened all the time. Someone would get pulled over, not have up to date documents and get a summons. In the meantime they would come into our office and show they had all the valid documents, but would still have to go to court. And they wouldn't get legal aid so would have to pay for legal advice, ridiculous
It didn't help Saddam
any excuse to wear a nice suit
not 'a nice suit'
that wasn't nice?
I handed in my plea earlier, covered in beer.
should have got it dry cleaned
that I may even have to wear it, let alone pay for it to be cleaned.
you should probably be thankful that you live in a country with a half-decent legal system....
a good one will last a couple of years
but it's still quite a large outlay. mine is a very average one but i couldn't have afforded it without my parent's financial input.
and then there's the cost of dry cleaning ... nothing but theft.
I think it's worth it
why do you think it is worth it?
and I have reason to wear one often enough
to be honest. and most of the time, i don't even bother doing that. if you often have to look professional and that, then fair enough.
i do feel like a king when i'm walking round town in one though. like a king.
or a cloak and a crown?
seriously though, my first job was the shittest job on earth but i had to wear a suit and it was brand new then and when i went to sit in the pub after work i could have been earning any amount of money ... it felt nice.
but then i realised it was just because i'd been watching doctor who, and that i will never, ever look as good in one as David Tennant does.
It's a serious business and you should look like you take it seriously.
Chances are the Judge will think worse of you if you aren't wearing one so if it did go badly for you, you'll get a worse sentence.
Wear a sober suit, white shirt, dull tie and have a shave. Unless you're a girl.
70's bush is fashionable again
and I didn't wear a suit
that very ballsy!
it's just my suit looked like a tramp had slept in it so I went for the sensible jumper. They should have been honoured I wasnt wearing converse.
that's stuck it to THE MAN
he's already been dragged out to an abandoned quarry and shot
