Zone 1, N1, just off Caledonian Road.
Great space, nice big room.
£430 pcm + bills (around £60/month)
Get in 'touch'.
It's like an addiction though :(
i swear it's not on my face this morning.
but i SWEAR it was just because you bought me a drink.
it was because emmy touched my leg and you told me that you wanted to do it too.
you never did though, DID YOU DANIEL?
it would've been difficult.
in the end, dodging traffic on camden road proved to be enough excitement for my evening. phew!
although i got it to shepherd's bush - took less than an hour, very handy.
hmm! good to know :)
I'm moving to North London. Not til next summer though. But this gives me a nice idea of how much to pay a month. And I'm quite sure you wouldn't want to live with me either. Ho hum
living with you would be grand. we need another to complete our triumverate of sexy men.
move now please. kthxbye
Shame though, my facial hair would fit right in
b) too expensive
c) too much facial hair in one house
a bit too close to The Lincoln Lounge for my liking but a good location.
Maybe try advertising on www.moveflat.com and other sites too which are free.
living with someone who found a flat through that site.
hence why i'd like someone at least i know a little bit.
i can walk thirteen steps and i'm anywhere in central london! (after boarding a bus)
from time to time DiS people come over.
and we're all cunts.
they were frankly terrifying.
I'm actually a BIG CUNT.
people don't move at christmas
for Christmas I guess and because the other was leaky...that was cool though
An idea - try the NABS flatshare listing. It's FREE and is a word document circulated each month to a small group. I found my new home and the people on there are no where near as scary as say, LOOT or the moveflat place...
Subscribe to the flatshare list via http://www.nabs.org.uk/Home_0.html by clicking on the email link, top right hand side and saying you want to be inlcuded in their list.
It's a good alternative.
and it had ALL of my requirements which were, like, ten items long.
for a London abode then I'd definitely be knocking on your door
but, err, I'm not
it's tempting though
move to London.
it would be like the new playboy mansion.
wait, do you have a jacuzzi?
but next door does have a pond!
unless you're really lucky... it'll be a lot easier come may-september...
but, i spose you need someone now so...
people looking for london flats all the time.
i moved to london on jan 2nd.
they seem to think that. anyway, i'd agree that xmas is a bad time. no one wants the hassle of moving around xmas time.
and i have certain student benefits *COUGH*
what with me having no income, i'm doomed for a while.
are you wearing it?
the drugs, booze and worryingly late nights!
And I don't need to move right now.
And I own PCs.
it's a lovely flat, practically in Zone 1!
Quite how many people have been round my house.
a year ago this friday, i believe.
I pay almost that it's true, but I know mine's expensive, but then it's nice little flat.
Anyway Zone 1 isn't an incentive for me as I'd probably still need at least a zone 2 travelcard...
but it sure as hell isn't expensive. it's only about £100/month more than i paid to live in a 5 bed place in archway.
I meant it's expensive for me. If I was to move out I'd want to be paying less than I am now.
Get with the time.
if i lived in london i would like to live with crablin. but i don't. sorry.
no wai 'expensive'.
Would make me anyone have an amazing time. Bloody University.
to share a flat???
i cant afford that. goddammit.
this is well cheap for Central London near a tube station. I pay £560 and live further out.
Your location is actually at least as good since you are 5-10 mins from:
- The Piccadilly Line
- The Victoria Line
- The Northern Line
Even closer if there's a bus right there as they're all on routes.
Plus you have about 5 night buses that converge on where you are...
And you pay much less.
but colin lives right near king's cross. lots of buses there, innit.
I thought he was up t'other end of Caledonian Road.
Fankly you couldn't PAY me to live in proximity to Caledonian road :D
have this jaded view of cally road. it's seriously fine!
It may be better these days but I certainly have never liked it. It feels dangerous and grotty.
an ivory tower filled with soap?
Sorry I was out...
Meh, when I was growing up I didn't like Caledonian Road. When I was older I still didn't.
Like the walk from Holloway to Finsbury Park, it always gave me the creeps.
but then so is most of north london.
besides, not all of us wish to live in pleasant suburbs miles away from anywhere ;o)
I would like to live back further in London again. Just not there. :D
full of shops open late and it's well lit.
you scare easy.
had an orange thrown at his head when he lived in the Cally Road. Tis dangerous.
However, it is the best for links and buses EVERYWHERE. Near Old St, Islington, Camden. I'd move in but I already live somewhere else...
i now know i couldnt afford to live in london. central london, i suppose. there are probably cheaper places... probably.
you earn more if you work here, so it makes up for it someway.
i dont think i'd get by on less than £20 grand there.
Bills only £60 a month? that sounds low. is council tax included somewhere?
so all the bills split equals about £60-70/month
it was about -> <- fun.
because you'd not say "Why does no one want to live with I?" unless you're Marylin Monroe in Some Like it Hot.
And if you are you might want to mention it as it is probably an incentive for zxcvbnm.
How did you work that one out anyway, Theo? MICROSOFT WORD?
THEO GAY BOY.
and there you go.
I am GOD! Or something
As in, nothing sticks?
IN YOUR FACE THEODOPOLOPODiS!
wondered how long it would be before you replied with that.
Did you get your burner working?
In the shopping bit do they still have those wings and halo thingies? Because they were a bloody eyesore..
If someone finds me a job in the centre of town, I will. YEAH.
want my job?
Now you see the perils in making your job sound crap on the forum.
Next time you'll be all "My job is the BEST in the world, bitches!"
Not with Alcxxk
you can chill wit colon_k and gunt_rip tho
i love my new burner.
i've been burning things all day.
nero never used to work with my cd burner. strange.
if only you'd advertised this a few weeks ago.
say it again!
i don't take orders from you anymore.
is it anywhere near the goswell road?
but its in zone 1, i work in 4.
that would pile another 130/month to my outgoings.
going to move to finchley, 5min work to work every morning. and rent is only 370.
Three of the best...
LEAVE! LEAVE NOW! WHILST YOU STILL CAN!
so i have to move here or not eat
mind you, i might have to move back when the money runs out.
