as in ales and bitters and whatnot.
Are they really that rare?
But they're all lezzers.
are still girls even though they're fat.
Get the next advent calendar picture up!
I wouldn't, if I were you.
It'll be up in a moment...
Apparently not, though Budvar and similar are technically just as 'real' as 'real ale'.
You know what i mean.
I'm drawing a distinction between Carling and Budvar and similar proper lagers.
Just as John Smiths is NOT a bitter, so Carling is NOT a lager in the real sense...
but they're normally either at feminist conventions or earthy country taverns
I'm not allowed to drink ales in public anymore as apparently it looks manly, despite me using the twohanded pint glass hold
not no more no no no no
Dr Mark Green died.
That's what I've learned about Grey's anatomy from the trailers on Living.
MISTER Dr Mark Green to you.
ps. i'm not a lezzer.
Or a feminist
i get frustrated by laydeez who insist on pointing out that they aren't feminists as if feminism is like nazism or something...
I actually don't know. :(
1. Belief in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes.
2. The movement organized around this belief.
Cheers, Mr Jones.
right thinking person wouldn't be supportive of #1?
and no, zxcvbnm isn't right minded
My mother was actually opposed to me coming to college/doing any higher education as apparently, i should follow her lead and be married with a kid by now. She wants me to be a housewife, as "men are the moneyearners".
i'm glad you didn't :)
in my experience, most women feel more or less that way...
regards women who don't work as exercising a choice and men who don't as the worst kind of scum.
it just strikes me as an inconstistency. i don't think there are many women willing to make the sort of sacrifices required to close most of the pay gap.... but that's another issue
Isn't that part of the whole equality thing? That regardless of what gender the not-working-person is, it should be seen as a choice?
Oh, yeah. I would be willing to be the "bread-winner". Assuming the wifey/husband wasn't justa lazy person and actually did the household stuff.
to be egalitarian?
i would go part-time if i had kids, like
But.. i dunno.
has put me off putting children into daycare before they're three.
(first, dontchyooknow) made her worry about it too but she says there is another study that proves that daycare is very good for children.
i think it's just psychologists trying to piss people off.
In the studies i've studied, it shows that daycare is a bit shit if the kid isn't 3+. It'll become agressive and mean and horrible and blaahh. And not be as clever, apparently.
"but they're normally either at feminist conventions or earthy country taverns"
I meant i don't do these things^
that doesn't mean i hate men and burn my bra etc etc.... that's just stupid. i believe in women being equal to men and that they can achieve whatever a man 'can'.... and so on. i was always taught to stand up for what i believe in and my mum brought me up to be a 'strong' woman so... in my opinion that is what a feminist is. to me. it's different for everyone i suppose... but, feminist does not equal stereotypical man hating butch lesbian.
feminist are rampant misandrists. but if you believe in equality between men and women then you are a liberal feminist.
there you go :)
more bordering on separatism though, i wouldnt call it feminism at all.
I wasn't implying there was a correlation between being a lesbian and a feminist?
you equated drinking beer as something that only women that are lesbians or 'feminists' do.... and were distancing yourself from them... which, i think, as a woman you shouldn't - as, i think in this day and age every or most women are feminists whether they know it or not...?
at junkstaposition ... not me, anyway ... but it has become normal for women to regard the concept of 'feminism' with disdain ... the girls i know who are most avowedly committed to issues of equality say things like 'i'm not a feminist or anything, but ...'
it's just a shame that a well intentioned movement for equality has been so bizarrely discredited.
like someone said earlier, who wouldn't agree with equality between the sexes?
It was only a flippant comment made bouncing off what slicky said.
you self hating jew
has returned to the thread...
I only wanted to say i like beer!
Can we just say lots of rude things/insults now?
YOU HAVE A TINY WILLY, JUNKSTAPOSITION.
YOU HAVE A TINY WILLY AND DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE IT!
got a massive one ... ask her if you can see it
i was just a bit shocked...?
Looks like we've got a feminist!
clean my kitchen!

I'm going to that christmas service thing (gets me out of politics), and also as i'd better show my face as the boy is playing in it.
But..tomorrow i may be pubbing for a short time. I tell you, the tap will be rolling the red carpet out for my arrival tomorrow.
I'm one of the "naughty" kids who is pretending to go so she gets a few hours off college.
You should come to boro tomorrow. BEEEER.
I should have gone drinking THEN gone to the service. I would have enjoyed it times TEN.

That's it. You're too mean to be my stalking victim now.

I've been going for nigh on two years for me dinner.
and it makes me love her EVEN more.
That made me smile.
about restrained, dignified girls that drink beer by the jug. especially stout.
wait until you meet a lady that swigs Wild Grouse from the bottle. Now THAT is what I call classy. And also a potential mate
one night a while ago.
Just the smell of it makes me want to die now.
she'll soon be passed out from alcohol poisioning and then you can make your move?
you got that dating tips book too? Apparently the best place to look is bus stations, late at night
ahahahahahahahahahaaha. Yeah, good one
as I only have to remember one kind of drink to buy when they do this
says girls don't drink beer because it's not feminine. Which is why she drinks Scrumpy Jack instead.
I've tried so hard with this and I still don't get it
I was the youngest there by a good 20 years..
Anyway, we searched for a good 20 minutes to find a pub that would serve 'decent, real beer'. When my dad found somewhere he thought was a true 'old gits' pub', they only had two to choose from.
The conversation when we got there went something like..
Dad: "what d'you want to drink?"
Lucy: "err..beer please"
Dad: "Beer? What..like a bottle of something?"
Lucy: "Nah, actual beer"
Dad: "Like..a corona or something?"
Lucy: "No, a pint"
Dad: "As in draught? A pint?"
Lucy: "Well..yeah, please?"
Dad: "A pint of real beer?"
Dad: "Which one?"
Lucy: "Well there ARE only two-"
Dad: "WE'VE COME ALL THIS WAY AND THERE ARE ONLY TWO?! Pffft..so you want a pint then?"
I'll get one myself next time.
that's ace. I got looked down on by my male friends the other day, they were drinking JD and coke; i on the other hand had a carling.
it was a carling after all.
carling is GOOD.
Carling is piss!
don't bad mouth carling. It's alright.
in what conceivable way is carling good?
and it's cheap and very easy to drink.
Still not great like.
cans of Carling on thursday before we went out and I've got to say, I was actually quite enjoying it. Still wouldn't buy a pint of it, though.
lets hear it for the girls!
complaining and more lucidity.
she's at the cooking sherry, surely you must know this
if i'm in the garage, i'm at the anti-freeze
but you belong to a slightly different category of individuals.
