for me, Miami Vice and the Da Vinci code are tied at the top.
Both absoloutely awful.
it was fucking AWFUL
has chosen all the films we've been to see for the last few months, and it's been great.
i am no longer going to take responsibility for any of my own decisions, things seem to work out better that way!
was good. I want to see it again.
Worst film I've seen was The Black Dahlia.
some neo-nazis got shot and Colin Farrell had a lot of Audioslave soundtracked sex, but apart from that, NOTHING HAPPENED.
you've just described the entire movie, well done.
i forgot about the black dahlia. that was awful.
Snakes on a Plane was so bad it was awesome so I can't really count that
Winner would have to be 'Ripper', a thriller 'starring' Kelly Brook that I got for less than £1 on DVD
starring David Hasselhoff
was hilarious. So bad its good.
the original is AMAZING.
To give that woman out of Save The Last Dance a job out of pity?
To upset me deeply when I was coerced into watching it?
Any of those reasons.
appalling, and all the more so because it clearly thought it was being "arty".
i notice it has come out here as well, does anyone know if it's been cut to shreds? i imagine so, it had a lot of sex in it...
and the reviews I've read were quite favourable.
the first five minutes features a man pissing in a bathtube and near continuous (real) sex.
i just found it really juvenile and pretty cringeworthy in places, particularly towards the end.
i've seen have all been pretty terrible.
my vote for worst film would probably go to match point. it made me doubt whether woody allen ever had any talent for directing.
the beano and Hackney Gazette.
i've never read the hackney gazette.
also the michelangelo antonioni segment of eros was bloody appalling. what is it with these has-been directors?
colour me surprised.
I'm seeing it Wednesday. It has Justin Bond in it, I therefore refuse to believe it's shit.
of thing critics would like, i just didn't. most of the characters are self-absorbed, the sex scenes are very boring, the blackout scenes at the end made me cringe and the whole thing was just very studenty.
the box was the best thing about it
I nearly walked out.
along with big fish
The Da Vinci Code. Brick. Brick.
even though I've heard it's pretty gash.
I forgot MATCHPOINT! and Jarhead was fucking boring too.
are you guys talking about?! brick was great as was the king.
srsly? It made me want to dead stuff up.
chiroscuro must be talking about a different film.
Perhaps one about an actual Brick. In an Andy Warhol style?
You're off the force chicarusco!
friend was groaning loudly and pretty much rolling around on the floor begging us to turn it off did rather influence my opinion.
What am I doing on DiS arguing about films? I have so much work to do.
surely that guy should've died at the end.
sweet mother of mercy, what a shit film.
is so right !
70s film BY FAR
was so dire. also snakes on a plane wasnt even that bad it was good, it was just baaaad! see also battle royale, the wicker man and world trade center
Did you see the rat?
Did you see the french doughnut?
The rat at the end was kind of bad, but it was still great overall.
It had the most heavy handed direction that I had ever seen and a plot that hardly held itself together which is amazing since it is a remake of a film that did make sense
The Departed was a fine film.
I don't know if it was different writers or re-edited / written by higher forces but it was TURD...only got about half an hour in and couldn't face the rest. I do love Family Guy too. tsk.
plus the swearing in it, i dont want that to make me sound like a prude. but, family just doesnt sound right with proper swearing in it. that might just be me.
well that and the second half was just shit.
I'd say the Da Vinci Code. But I also saw the Stallone version of 'Get Carter' and that is bad on a whole level of it's own.
But 'Brick' is excellent and one of the films of the year.
on DVD called Without A Paddle that made me sit in stony silence for an hour and a half. After it had finished.
SHIT SHIT SHITTERTY SHIT
It wasn't THAT bad.
watch fantastic four. Utter tripe.
i tried to sleep in that film, it was shocking
was x-men 2.
It was so unmemorable.
...all that came out ages ago.
However, it also was the best film.
I also hate Jack Black (apart from in high fidelity)
Some of the bits where you could tell they were improving were going on forever. I thought that "Baby Jesus" bit was never going to end. It was funny at first but the film ran out of steam like 15 minutes in.
Awful, awful, awful.
yes i know it wasnt released this year, but seriously one of the worst films i have ever seen
Tits it was.
I don't want to see Amnda Byrnes kiss anyone EVER.
The Pick Of Destiny. I should have just burned my £6.70 and put the fire out with my eyes. I also found a ginger hair in my ice cream. I hate you, Cineworld.
to remember the bad movies I've seen...
more people havent battlefield earth. you havent seen bad cinema until you've tried to watch battlefield earth. you feel your brain dying with every passing second.
thought this was 'of all time'
not even one funny moment, unless you find two fat men saying "fuck" over and over again funny.
