has anyone actually seen one of these critters in 'real life' and not just a scary magnified photo on the interweb?
but you can see them with the human eye
maybe i don't have any then.
Many times while I was a backpacker. They feasted on my blood regularly and I even woke up and caught them in the act at least once.
there's been threads started about far more inane subjects. ;-)
I just thought there might be a witty anecdote or similar behind the question :)
You do mean bedbugs don't you and not dust mites, because mites are way too small for anyone to see and live in everyones beds
I'd wake up every morning with rows of bites on my ankles. Nowhere else. Just my ankles. Those mofos are surgical ninjas
if that counts
but i used to play this game and it is very fun:
(im way to cool for that)
but, i saw a program about all the bugs/germs etc in the house and on humans and we and our beds are supposed to be covered in these miniscule things that we cant see. BUT if we are covered in them surely we should be able to see them? cos when lots of small things get together, its a big visible mass yeah?
I used to drift off to sleep in the cool 40 degree evening air, as a trail of really quite large bed bugs crawled over me. Very soothing if they don't bite. Probably not technically bed bugs, but seeing as they were bugs and on my bed, I think they count.
but if that happened to me now I would jump out of bed squealing and have to find somewhere else to sleep. bugs on my body = eeeeeeeek
