If you died today, your myspace would live on forever.
but people could post comments like
YOU'RE SO DEAD!!!1!
jokes on you!
It's FUCKED UP.
I actualyl hate it and I'm not sure why.
in my home town who died in a car crash and his myspace is still up and his friends still leave messages on it. It's sort of nice, but also very sad.
i know people probably thought I was being sarcastic but I wasn't....
friends who died that have myspaces. It's comforting that their myspaces are there actually.
(sorry that's depressing)
to delete abusive comments and crap?
There haven't ever been abusive comments, they only had real life friends as myspace friends mainly. It's sad to see the date of last log in and stuff still though.
died during the summer and his My Space is still running, with people posting comments. As you say it's pretty bleak.
I always worry about this as I write a lot of poetry and draw pictures and stuff on my MySpace blog etc that is all meant to be half-hearted and fictional (I write lots of over the top murder ballad type things for example) but might not come across that way.
Looking at all those other deaths of bloggers and how much people over analyse the most pointless things I get a bit worried that if I did die today someone could read lots of dumb stuff into it that I never intended. I'm not planning to kill myself so it's probably unlikely as that's when the over analysis happens the most but it worries me anyway.
Just thought I'd share that with you.
people would still be able to see your work. Would you mind that condsidering the context?
but I suppose living on like that is important. It's less the actual "art" that bothers me, more the general blogs. Like if you've had a bad day at work and post, "oh that was horrible, life sucks", over-exaggerating things like many people do and then get run over by a car. Everyone might read that last blog and think "oh god, he died a miserable person" when it's most probably not true.
i'd rather i lived on as a comforting memory rather than a comforting insincere webpage.
i will make you one, and there will be nothing you can do about it, ha!
why do youdo this?
more concerned with the whole being dead business.
i'd probably have better things to do aswell, its was a hollow threat really, you can rest easy.
grinding to a halt. a little space where this activity was just closing up. saddening.
the account will get deleted after it's not been logged into for a while.
people actually replied to this properly.
good. that was the idea.
