it's on at 8, never seen it b4. is it a kid's film?
no, it's an alright comedy.
i like jack black.
it mentions a few bands you're like !ahh yeah" about and you kinda connect with him because everyone is like "GIVE ITY UP YOU TWAT" and he's like "No, I'M PETER MOTHERFUCKING PAN AND WILL BE YOUNG FOREVER" but maybve that's just me.
It's Ok. I'd give it 6/10.
Innit John. Darts.
its quite good.
also zoolander is on after it, so watch that aswell.
a bit disney kids film-ish. but Jack Black is good in it.
it's got Jack Black in it.
Nobody in their right minds over the age of 18 watches any of those films out of choice.
What about Lost? So much good TV for a Sunday night...
I remember it being funnier. I wasn't really in the mood for it though
i concur. zoolander is awesome.
does anyone else think owen wilson has the hottst persoanlity ever?
and school of rocks cool, it has music and its feel good :)
but watch it anyway
is the best lot outta those films.
I didnt think it was that good when I first saw it, but for some reason im in the mood for it, despite not liking it much. Weird.
even though you hate them artistically they fill a certain space that makes them necessary in your life.
should have to be School Of Rock though.
even when theyre not exactly great works of art, i like feel good films like the one in question, good sunday viewing.
but it's not a great work of art, or funny, or enjoyable, surely?
i thought it was quite enjoyable. it wasnt dreadful thats for sure.
But then, I find Jack Black annoying.
Hannah and Her Sisters is on a bit later though, so yay for the BBC.
(aka his best role)
so will watch it.
predictable but enjoyable enough.
child actors do annoy me generally, these kids less than most.
but Jack Black annoyed the fuck out of me, as predicted.
dozens of films. but yeh, thats one of them (it is better tho).
one of my top 20 or so films EVER
this pleases me
give yourself some indie cred, or something.
zoolander is better.
"I wasn't like every other kid, you know, who dreams about being an astronaut, I was always more interested in what bark was made out of on a tree. Richard Gere's a real hero of mine. Sting. Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music he's created over the years, I don't really listen to it, but the fact that he's making it, I respect that. I care desperately about what I do. Do I know what product I'm selling? No. Do I know what I'm doing today? No. But I'm here, and I'm gonna give it my best shot."
And Zoolander is basically a couple of good jokes in context in a really quite dull movie.
These films are like all those Chevy Chase movies from the late 70s and early 80s that were never particularly good but so many people go on and on about...
Then Mr Slicky came in and puffed so we watched Memento instead.
I like BOTH School of Rock and Zoolander. I am easily pleased and amused though
though obviously well out of date. The films probably aren't bad actually. They all star wassisname as the old bloke, don't they?
