to buy cheesecake. should i feel bad?
...this can't be good though
open! people can make me feel less guilty by discussing petty reasons why they miss lectures...i was out buying a table football table the other day instead of being at a lecture :D
because i can't be arsed
i only miss them because i learn everything from reading for seminars.
The best kind of information
its like the pringles of information.
eat your poisoned cheesecake of intellectual demise.
it's only origins of modern Europe.
worse it could be historiography flavoured.
learning is fun!
i think that's "early modern europe" or possibly "medieval europe". the origin of that was "classical europe"
i rock at history.
was always doing crazy things!
I miss Wew.
once, he jusat got up anf turned the tc off....right in the middle of blockbusters!
I never knew he was that crazy.
What a guy.
Mine does. Yours does.
That's a good sample size, isn't it?
So yes, every home has a top cat lamp.
I'd never dream of touching it though.
are we carrying on?
how much mileage do you reckon is left in it?
we could always do "what do you call a man..." jokes?
playing football. We're two players short at the moment.
news story to the bbc?
Homes overrun by TC Lamps.
TC lamps - the cat's pyjamas
of blockbusters? Cool, can i get Duece Bigalow 2 and the smallest tub of ice cream ever made please.
skiving cheesecake for lectures, surely?
Lectures = necessary
Cheesecake = cheesecake
there is no arguing with that kinda logic
were a good reason for me to miss lectures on a few (hungover) occasions.
*nudge nudge wink wink*
was a good reason
"och, they will have started now - no point in disrupting the class. Union anyone?"
Note : I do NOT condone this kids, get to class. Every day is a gift.
i ALWAYS did that...
i do not condone this either kids.
study hard or you'll end up staring at spreadsheets all day.
the bad ones.
the union bar opened at 11, and my british history lecture was also at 11.
I missed that lecture A LOT.
i have work.
it's not :(
single lecture or class when I was at uni.
Including a tutorial on the end of the cold war, where I turned up at 9am on the dot. Having played rugby the day before and broken my nose. Having then gone out, got battered within an inch of my life, broken my nose again (in a seperate place), sat in A&E all night and turned up to class stinking of gin, covered in blood, unable to breathe properly with massive discolouration across my face.
That was a constructive class.
i try not to miss more than 2 a week. my excuse is 110% of the time is that i cant be fecked.
a week anyway. i'm back with cheesecake, 'deep dish sticky toffee cheesecake' for that matter :)
I think I must have skipped about a third of my lectures at my time in uni, and about half of my seminars.
And I only had about 8 hours of uni a week...
that is fairly comforting...though i only have 6 hours of uni a week...
i despair at the youth of today :p
missing them is completely out of order! nobody agree?
i did manage to read a few articles and write half of an essay, so it's not like i achieved nothing.
we were told at the start of the course not to bother going if the time could be better used reading a book or even sleeping.
reason: couldn't be bothered to get out of bed in time.
In fact, i haven't been to any lectures this week. I'm going to fail.
Strawberry Cheesecake Haagen Daas ice cream right now
cheesecake right now, we're cool. way better than any old lecture.
