inland revenue give notice of the value of property they intend to seize from you to reclaim a debt.
can i say 'i am writing regarding <someone> who has been served with a distraint notice to the vale of £7296'
When I was a bailiff we used to distrain stuff all the time.
And if they didn't pay, we would cart it off.
