Not sure if anyone has posted this already so apologies if they have. I missed it first time, so catching the repeat.
Anything good being played?
Saul Williams, ATD-I, Trail of Dead "Mistakes and Regrets", My Morning Jacket. I lost a bit of interest with the inevitable Bloc Party vid, but there was a great Bjork track off Vespertine, the No. 1 LP in the DiS 66.
I think Medulla's quite an underrated album, although it's no Vespertine. Or Homogenic, for that matter.
but this track (the 1st off that LP I believe) was otherworldly and addictive at the same time. I'm gonna have to investigate... (you would think being no.1 in the 66 would be incentive enough!)
I couldn't recommend Bjork enough. Her music is just....perfect.
from the tracklisting, though actually more mainstream than what the normal 120mins plays, not that that's a bad thing, just all of this is on during the day anyway:
Saul Williams - List of Demands
At The Drive In - Cosmonaut (Live at the Carling NME Awards 2001)
Bright Eyes - First Day of My Life
My Morning Jacket - Off the Record
Pretty Girls Make Graves - This is our Emergency
Bloc Party - Helicopter
Ryan Adams - So Alive
Björk - Hidden Place
The Knife - Like a Pen
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Y Control
Interpol - PDA
Broken Social Scene - 7/4 (Shoreline)
Biffy Clyro - 57
The Macabees - Latchmere
The Mystery Jets - Alas Agnes
TV on the Radio - Staring at the Sun
Sigur Rós - Untitled #1
The Shins - Kissing the Lipless
The Stills - Still in Love Song
Guillemots - Made Up Love Song #43
Patrick Wolf - The Libertine
Howling Bells - Setting Sun
it would be a bit more alternative, if only to see vids I haven't seen before. Good thing = Blood Brothers, bad thing = Rival Schools (both not on your list BTW).
Mum "Green grass of tunnel".
and what do MTV2 play straight after? Effing Chilli Peppers! Time for bed I think...
Haven't seen BB's on during the day before
