So next September/October I'll be starting at either:
Applying to uni was one of the most horrible things I've ever been through!
(I went to Sussex btw, it were reet gud)
What you studying?
At all apart from Sussex it's German with Business/Business and Management/Management...
And at Sussex, German with Law
nice choices. Shoulda put Birmingham though. To do what?
unless you got him confused with thom_fa.
to go to university there.
unfortunately not, there weren't really any in London with any courses I wanted to do...
I really wanted to go to Kings, but they don't do german with anything Business/Law related
come here after.
what's your first choice?
Manchester and Sussex at the minute I think...
So next September/October (..in 2008) I'll be starting at either:
How much does it cost for some pieces of paper and a few stamps? Huh?
This is very true...
I thought up until yesterday that the school would be paying, apparently not, so I had to do it in a hurry last night, managed to slip in a quote from Thomas Jefferson into my personal statement though, always a winner
Not good for anyone with the slightest sense of dignity.
i've applied to leeds, manchester and sussex too! (also UCL, Bristol and Birmingham.) I sent mine off today, I had to pay £16, that's a whole pound more. I'm so excited though. *runs around*
Though I'd be genuinely happy with any of the ones I applied to.
although the more I think about it, the more I think UCL would be better for my subject (art history, lots of galleries in London Village of course). What are you applying for?
I don't actually like studying it, but, well, I had to pick something.
... not everyone has to go to uni. Three years and a lot of money, it's worth picking something you'll enjoy :) Though I am sure university is more fun than college no matter what your subject...
I like finding out about history myself - I just don't really enjoy class-learning. Luckily, it's not done that way, so I'm sure it'll be fine.
Plus, I have months of touring some of the poorest regions of the world, which I'm sure will make me damn well appreciate our education system.
about the whole thing...
Bring on the replies...
Preferably offers as opposed to rejections
to have to wait a while before you hear about interviews/offers, is it? Did you just apply to those three?
And I hope studenting in London is not that bad. I was under the impression it was rather good. Anyone know?
and UCL got back to me in MARCH.
don't worry :-)
But then it got to two days before the deadline, and I gave up on that idea.
