I think that Duncan Goodhew wants to meet you.

I wanted to know the answer to this or a similar question, I would definitely seek the answer here. No doubt about it. The extensive medical knowledge displayed numerous times on this board means this is the only place to ask
looking on Wikipedia but there's too much info there to know where to begin reading.
and it goes on about dermatitis and how to cope with alopecia. no fucking affects.
disease is exclusive to age.
one of the kiddy documentary things on daytime channel four. It starts off with hair falling out. Head sometimes gets cold but the child in it had a hat. I think she lived on a farm. Was only about 7 so couldnt understand what she was on about though. She made a bald little friend though so its not all bad. They liked horses.
been in similar need since i was 18.
i'm closing in on buying regaine now.
alopecia areata when my dad died. A clump of hair at the back of my head fell out without me even noticing. My hairdresser pointed it out. I totally freaked out, but it has grown back and my hair is still as thick and messy as it ever was, so I think I am okay for now. It'll probably come back somewhen though. You lose about 100-150 hairs per day from your scalp alone.
It's incredibly unpredictable. It is not confined to any age group, and does not have any other real effects on health, though it can be a warning sign of malnutrition or mental trauma. I am one of the lucky ones so far. If you want to know anything in particular about it I can do my best to help, but obviously I only have a very mild case.
