Chesterfield 2-1 West Ham
West Ham losing=ACE
we're losing against Birmingham
it would be funny if they never ever won a game again.
so I can laugh freely. HAHAHA......
its the boards that fuck up clubs not players and managers - when will they learn!
a few bad results and then the manager gets binned - they'll hurtle out of control to the foot of the table
not bad enough?
As a Spurs fan I dunno whether pardew should be sacked or not - they couldn't really do much worse - keep him!
man city. not that i care, but they need to stop sacking people. it's not as bad now as the classic revolving door policy of the late 90s but it's still ridiculous. who will they get instead?
Arsenal's kids won 2-0. Super!
everyone knows that arsenal are the club that they want to support ;)
trust me, i really don't want to support arsenal...
actually it's kind of bad being an arsenal fan. in the last ten years or so we've managed to lose:
the cup winners cup final
the uefa cup final
the champions league final
the fa cup final
we're actually shit at the moment. more so than usual.
dunno what the fuck i'm moaning about
West ham, like Tottenham have fans that think the club is bigger and more important than it actually is.
all clubs have fans a bit like that. west ham and spurs fans just dominate shitty football phone ins.
i remember being stunned when i heard that charlton fans wanted pardew out because he was just a championship manager and they needed taking to the 'next level'
the worst fans for this are newcastle fans
i meant .... curbishley, that was the guy's name.
i'm half asleep
understand the leeds comparison. leeds spent a stupid amount of money in about a fortnight and then got relegated. it's not the same at all.
i'm so looking forward to leeds' relegation, though
made the leeds comparison further up the thread ...
until the takeover.
There's no point in the current administration going through the arduous process of paying off his contract and recruiting another manager.
He did such a great job last season and I still think he's the right man for the job.
8 straight defeats is bad but my team (Bristol City) had a similar run last season and, under the same manager, wound up just short of a play-off place (and are now in 3rd this season).
It's a typical panic reaction to sack a manager but I really don't see it helping.
but if they sack him, I wouldn't mind Sheffield Wednesday moving in. Last season he proved himself to be a genuinely talented manager with fresh ideas.
But he has done a great job at the west ham. True they have had an atrocious start to the season, but look at the Back Room difficulties and issues that they have faced. I never understand why after a few bad games the managers are condemned and their other achievements are quickly swept away. He has done it in the past for them, why won’t he do it again. Also they could do without the distractions of a league cup run right now anyway.
why oh why oh why?!?
i'm pretty sure (hope) we will be fielding a second team against Liverpool tonight, so i guess i will feel aggrieved if that happens, but at the end of the day they got jammy and it could have been the other way round and it is a pointless waste of energy.
looked at the team we were fielding last night and thought "Good, we're taking this cup seriously, maybe we can put a run together."
That was before we lost 2-0 to Notts Co. I definitely don't miss them
Surely the Hammers will move in for Curbishley????
Curbishley gets a job the better. He gets linked with everything.
Sven for West Ham? If these new backers buy the club they'd probably want some fancy pants big name johnny foriegner.
That we'll turn it around. It will take one fluke victory to give certain players the confidence to play how they're capable of.
At present it's dreadful though. There is zero confidence, and Pardew probably thought he should give some of our grittier players a game, hence Dailly. It didn't work because we are still so lightweight in midfield with Reo Coker having a mare of a season.
Oh how we need Deano back so badly..
I'm not impressed with Reo-Coker. He was supposed to be the jewel in my fantasy football midfield and he has been bludey appauling. Same goes for Anton Ferdinand. Bastards.
Second Season Syndrome methinks.
