outlook on my computer at work and it won't let me. someone explain.

the work computers here don't let you install ANYTHING..ask your helpdesk/IT man if you have one
Is there an error message?
'Your Microsoft Exchange Server Is Unavailable' and then it says 'Retry' or 'Work Offline' .... i click 'Work Offline' and the whole thing just closes.
you just need to find out what your exchange server is, ask your internal support guy they tend to know more than randomers on an internet forum.

otherwise you'll have an unoffical guy who gets roped into fixing the problems even though it's not actually their job to do it. Find him and buy him a beer.

Alternatively someone set it up wrong, if there ISN'T an exchange server to connect to...
