what fun or interesting stuff is there to do in Geneva? Thanks!
but that was 25 years ago.
they were pumping the smell of cannabis into the basement.
but do make some time for walking round / chilling by the lake!
then I remembered it wasn't 1997
(my brain doesn't do physics)
and you can get tours
that might be quite cool.
I've driven past the building before I think.
A particle accelerator is a device that uses electric and/or magnetic fields to propel electrically charged particles to high speeds. There are two basic types: linear (i.e., straight-line) accelerators and circular accelerators.
they give high energy to subatomic particles, which then collide with targets. Out of this interaction come many other subatomic particles that pass into detectors. From the information gathered in the detectors, physicists can determine properties of the particles and their interactions.
The higher the energy of the accelerated particles, the more closely we can probe the structure of matter. For that reason a major goal of researchers is to produce higher and higher particle energies.
next week actually.
be about the post-Suede falsetto epic popsters of the same name.
I quite liked Geneva. What happened to them?
Singer formed Amityville who split early 2006 too...
i was there earlier this year around march/april time...beautiful place....arrived early in the morning,i ate breakfast outside overlooking lake geneva, was really nice...so tranquill in the early hours of the day just as the sun rises.
I've been a few times before so I'm really looking for more obscure things that aren't immediately obvious.
Apparently he sang at his wedding and was "very good" according to my friend who is friends with his wife. Lets hope he comes back and sings for the public again - awesome voice.
stop hijacking my thread.
If so you'll just get pissed and visit a couple of nice buildings.
nah I'm seeing family. there will be minimal getting pissed.
I'm going from wednesday to saturday this week.
and return Friday. I would invite you to the party, but...
1. You would only say no
2. You might say yes, but mean no
3. It's a party for our Geneva office so i couldn't anyway.
but thanks! if I see you around on Thursday I'll be sure to say hello...
of the many restaurants that are dotted around the lakes edge. It really is a great place to relax and watch the fountains.
