any good ?
and it was very good. Haven't seen the film though. If they haven't dumbed it down at all then yes, it will remain very good.
i am now more excited
alan bennett had adapted the film version too. so it's probably good. (y)
i hope it's good. the film trailer looks like the play probably would be good. im quite looking forward to it.
it had sold out.
BUT next Thursday I am going to see Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat WITH H FROM STEPS IN THE LEAD ROLE
i think the phrase is 'pwned'
it on Friday and I really liked it. There were some great performances and the script was great, although I haven't seen the play so don't know how it compares. Although living in Oxford, there was an undue amount of smug laughter at lines like 'Well, Bristol would like it, but this is OXFORD WE'RE TALKING ABOUT HERE'. And people cheered when there was a shot of the Bodelian Library...
But, yes, go see it, it's good.
but i agree with the guardian review that said it still is a bit ''filmy'' - they just changed location, and havent really adapted it as well as they could.
Go see the play! It's ace.
Surely it's a bit 'theatre-y'?
Often the case with adapted plays, though, but I quite like films like Sleuth and (yes really) Deathtrap for accepting that they were popular due to dialogue and stuff.
I'm glad we agree.
I'm a bit unsure as to whether to see the film.
that fat kid from all or nothing in it, and he's good. so, maybe, its good?
