Myspace fucks with the mind!
But even weirder when you go to a party and bump into someone you know there despite not knowing they had any connection to the person whose party you're at.
people from your primary school who now go out with people from your secondary and then split up with them and go out with people from your college.
It's always weird finding out two people I've known for ages like Tom Waits. I didn't know anyone I knew liked Tom Waits.
Brain not working proper
please say it is.
I thought this thread migth be about how you found out that you actually kne wyour mugger. and he liked tom waits.
It is disturbing, particularly if it occurs in a city with millions of inhabitants.
You start to realise how small your social circle actually is!
in Manchester, I moved into house with five poeple living there who I had not met before, and one of them used to share a house with one my closest friends, and another was dating someone who used to date someone else I know. It isn't statistically possible.
I went to see a gig at the NEC with 3 other people from Bristol and the 4 people sat in the row in front of us each knew or knew someone who knew either myself or one of the people I was there with (in really different ways - one had met a friend at a party a year earlier, one had worked in the same shop as another's sister, they all went to secondary school with someone from my primary school etc,)
Is when you go to meet up with a potential "interest" and find him sat drinking with your ex.
It happens way too much to be funny anymore.
unless you are actually someone off a tv show or an emo
the ex concerned is one who despises me and tells anyone within hearing distance what a terrible girlfriend i am.
So, when you turn up and sit down next to the guy who isn't your ex, things tend to go awry. :(
