shop bought cooked chicken...you know off the deli counter. it says you cant but i dont see why not...
and let us know
it's like any pre-cooked meal.
how many times have you tried to reheat it tho? If it's 9 or more, i would start to worry.
this has caused me many arguments in the past.
if it has been stored in the fridge it's good for a day or two.
bacteria in the fridge...
or is that one of my mum's stories?
"if you don't eat your vegetables you'll get cancer."
NO WAY. YOU WILL DIE.
Rice is ok...the toxins stay dormant for about 24 hours; after that, NO WAY. YOU WILL DIE.
you're better off re-heating the chicken than rice. bacteria develops in rice after like 20 mins! (i had to do a health and hygiene course..)
that if you reheat chicken more than like once it's reallllyyyy dangerous!
i could be wrong thouggh.
its ok am just gonna eat it cold...tastes good anyway
no problems whatsoever.
is quite gross though.
If you are concerned about re-heating then why are you unconcerned about eating it cold? Surely, if there are worries about time, cold and not re-heated is worse than re-heating thoroughly.
to...i'm scared. someone muct know whether or not you can re heat it?
but cold chicken is really nice and not dangerous.
you can leave that for a while in the fridge and it'll be fiiiiine.
The point is that re-heating doesn't create badness. If something is going to be bad after re-heating then it would have been bad immediately before re-heating...when it was cold! Why do I have to spell things out?
it;s just that i've heard from people that if you reheat chicken loads you might get a runny bum.
but i don't really know.
what they mean is that, sometimes, cold food that is not fit to heat, may be fit to heat after re-heating and eaten hot; othertimes it may still be unfit after re-heating.
doubtful suggested not re-heating and eating cold, which is clearly WORSE than re-heating.
ho fo talks scientific sense
As usual, he's just stolen my ideas.
