Or is it just me?
"sitting around in my underwear" then yes.
well, except I'm sitting around in my underwear rather than yours. Probably.
What do you do?
what i do for a living. I'm currently building an interactive CDRom for DuPont.
Saying it's easy is a strange thing to say though. It takes no time to learn the basics of Flash/Actionscript. But it takes years to master.
here are a few that i built/designed -
that's some pretty nice Flash. You freelance, or employed?
for 3rd party suppliers. Would you be able to send me your CV (if you're interested anyway). I could pass work your way. We pay top dollar for talented guys.
weekends, weekdays until 4am sometimes, but since I had to do 70 hour weeks and made myself really ill I refuse to - I just coast along now, being mediocre but happy - but I know your pain!
I've had a full weekend off in months. If i didn't have such huge debts then i would probably refuse too. But i have, so i can't.
is there any light at the end of the tunnel? i.e. do you know how long you have to do it for before debts are paid off?
I ran up nearly £17k on credit cards a few years ago. I've been slowly paying it off with overtime etc. I'm now down to £4k
Never will i have another credit card. The fuckers kept upping my limit without asking. Temptation is too great.
we're remortgaging to pay off my credit card (amongst loads of other stuff), then that's it - never again!
at least if you know there's an end in sight it's something to work towards i suppose! a year will go so quickly!
earning money working....i'm doing notes and reading stuf likt that...so in a sense i am working. but if i actually am going to get anything done i have to leave my room, the internet is too big a distraction :(
And I worked through 9 hours of it. Happy sunday.
Not sinday. Because sunday is god's day.
I'm working 9am til 7pm... grr. Then I have to drag my sorry arse to the bank to shout loudly at 'customer services'. Life is wrong.
cos I'm like a talented arranger thanks to myspace and facepanty or whatever.
seriously though i am agonising over an 8 minute arrangement AND NOT GETTING PAID FOR IT
links to MP3 or something?
am not a laptard so its all written down etc as I can't work out all these fancy cuebase/ableton computer recording things - Bobby Grindrod is providing lyrics with a bit of luck - and it will be most un-F***ty I can tell you!
it will be something like the 70s and 80s and the Beatles never happened if that makes ANY sense - but with a 'modern twist' of course
i would expect no less ;-)
have a huge pile of essays to mark :( Like...300 of the fuckers. And an observation to plan for tomorrow, and 3 other lessons to plan.
Gaaaaah, bring on half term!!!!
i'll mark some essays for money!
Secondary level. How good are ya on Julius Caesar? (I haven't read it, and it's Year 11 parents' evening on Thursday and I need to have them marked by then...gah!!!)
Hound of the Baskervilles?
The Long and the Short and the Tall?
ive got to do a 1 1/2 hour past english textual analysis.
And ive decided to start a new file on final fantasy 9. I mustave spent over 300 hours on these games, and ive only ever finished one of them once. I always get to the end of the third disc then start again.
Not this time !
^most amazing anecdote ever.
And I have nothing but Sri Lanka against Bangladesh as company.
I have a work exam next week though to get a payrise. I could revise for it... But...
West Indies, ofc. Who cares though, eh.
no longer at work...
it was scary
for Frances Mathematical crisis.
was less scary
and the german lesson was positively terrifying.
teachers from france are all horrible.
about me ?
if you are, i'm sorry.
however! in my experience i have never had a nice teacher from france. wait, my history and geography teachers have all been nice, except for one who was belgian anyway.
But that's OK, I'm horrible...
ok, my current french teacher is horrible. french language teachers are meaner than maths and science teachers, i think.
French teachers forced to work where they're told? No idea where I heard that - remember being told that French teachers are sent where the jobs are and have to apply to move jobs. Probably bollocks mind...
we apply for a school, a town or a department and are dispatched by a 'movement' which is judged by points ( basically age... ).
isn't couting on me to find our future mathematicians...
