I wanna cut down my meat consumption lots but am worried about missing out on vital protein!

like Sarah Brown and Rose Elliott. They do stuff that's easy and cheap and healthy, rather than 'dinner party food'.
Especially The Bean Book by Rose Elliott = ace.

try Amazon. Also, Rose Elliott does a recipe in the Guardian Magazine every Saturday.

a really great one called 'the vegetarian student cookbook' in whsmiths today which was fairly cheap. i would have got it but most of it wasnt vegan.
through it at someone's desk at work.. there are some yum things in it...

Cranks bible has everything yummy ever but a distinct lack of pictures, really nicely written though. The Fast food cranks is nice and has pictures!
Rose Elliot ones are really good too, and cheap off Amazon.
