someone on here was saying it was ace.
i am going soon, i promise.
I'm not sure I'd want to go to the cinema to see it but probably worth a rental...maybe.
It's my day off and cinema tickets are £3.50
I had a choice of this or The Black Dahlia
its great. Really dark. I loved the future perception of London. Got some really willy nilly peices of violence in though!!!
It's at least 6 quid even on the bargain day at my local Cineworld, that's crazy.
£1 on fridays. GENIUS.
he acts out the film using the medium of mime. It only costs a £1 on Fridays, I'd take advantage of it if I were you.
Wednesday is the cheap day at FACT which is the only decent cinema in Liverpool but even on a regular day it's only a fiver
They didn't expalin anything. I don't think they thought the future out properly, it also implied that because Caine was old he would listen to old music i.e. the beatles, dylan etc. Which is stupid as it is forty years in the future. Bah humbug.
CHECK ME OUT.
Anyway, it ruled. Really is very good.
Go see it at cinema NOT on DVD innit. Will make all the difference.
fucking moron that I am.
The timing is still out.
Maybe it was written 20 years in the future and the music was part of the character.
P.D.James is about 103 or something so maybe she just doesn't know modern music?
My old boss was convinced he had the book at home and that he'd seen a film of it already.
When he checked the actress on IMDB he realised it was the Handmaid's Tale he was thinking of (book and movie).
Of course, that might just say a lot about the trailer for Children of Men.
f#cking brutal, though. it was just depressing from start to finish. but good. i would recommend it. clive owen is fabulous, too.
