Neds Atomic Dustbin :(
I look forward to The Muppet Babies Movie in 2008.
love fraggle rock and I bet if I watched it now i'd be like 'wow now this has aged badly.'
who's going to watch a fraggle rock movie. It's an 80s generation thing. I certainly wouldn't pay to see it.
the 80s generation will.
And in general, the 80s generation have gone through the process of having kids and building a career so now have money to spend on nostalgia type stuff.
parents will take their children to see it. It is, after all, a kids programme/film, irrelevant of when it was popular. Innit?
My first thought was 'Diver's posting about Back To The Planet...?!'
it was that great in the first place was my point. Probably people will see it. I can't imagine anything put on at a cinema or on DVD not getting at least one viewer. I'm an 80s kid and most of us are still childless. You're right about having money to spend i just don't see it being spent on something like going to see fraggle rock.
but it is the demographic at which it's aimed. The 28-40 market AKA £50 man is massive. One scan of the nostalgia clips bundles on telly at any given weekend would back that one up.
At a festival in New Cross. Lovely man.
