hint: it happens in the first 10 seconds. DONT watch the rest.
it'd've been better in the world cup final.
not watched it but I'm guessing that it is van Basten for Holland in the '88 Euro Champs. And I din't think it is the best goal ever.
The best goal ever is by Matt le Tiss, I just can't decide which one of the many that he hit.
Or, the own goal where mateyboy kicks it in to his own face
all Le Tiss was good for was cheap laughs at his massive nose.
bitter pompey fans should open up and accept his genius.
Matt le Tiss on a skateboard which sits atop of my PC begs to differ. Though even on a model he does have quite a big nose.
He could have fourteen legs and a cock growing out of his ear, I'd still love him
always looked a tad like he didnt have to ball under COMPLETE control.
see also tony yeboah
they looked fairly under control in the back of the net though, didn't they?
See if youtube has either of the two le Tissier goals against Newcastle, Sunday 24 October 1993. I was there, and the thought of it still sends shivers down my spine
looked like he was lucky to go past the defenders. this was newcastle defenders too remember
not going to bite.
You daft bastard
scored the best goal ever.
against rubbish swedish players.
to be the best goal ever needs to be on the biggest stage
as good as southhampton
always liked fullerov :)
le tissier. note how the newcatle one is fairly lucky. i could take it round barry venison
can't see it at work but if this is either of the two goals that I mentioned earlier, and you are calling it fairly lucky, then I'm not going to speak to you for, liek, 4 days
but the way he got past the 4 players was due to the ball not being under control, and terribel defending
4 days, starting... now!
that first free kick is astonishing.
are forgiven meths. I've seen that link now, and I don't think a better link has ever been put on any other website ever.
I'm close to tears
Is that the shot that the players are walking away from actually went in, but the net wasn't secured properly, so the ball goes in, bounces off a stanchion at the back and rolls under the netting. The ballboy just puts it back where it belongs.
on wesnesday night wasn't too shabby.
versus Watford, September 2001
glad your back tho
