Looks like it's shaping up to be another great series. Yay!
I reckon it'll get better as it goes along too. Saw a clip with Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and it was proper funny, he's like a nympho in it!
He seems a sound enough lad though.
Yeah it had some good lines
Cant beat the office though

Orlando Bloom actually pulled off a good performance for the first time in his career:
"Oooh, I have scissors for hands...Willy Wonka, Johnny Wanker".
"Don't look at the camera!"
I thought it was over a bit too quick, very good though.
exactly like David Brent.
Orlando Bloom was.
reminded me of his simpsons episode where you could just imagine it all coming out of gervais' mouth
That was the most brave and brutal episode of any TV comedy I've seen since... well, probably the last time Extras was on.
The bit with "Barry" and all the food stuffed in his jacket made me want to simultaneously laugh and cry. Writing Orlando Bloom as an insecure Johnny Depp-hating narcissist was also a stroke of genius...
"At least he still has his dignity..."
Not to detract from it's obvious greatness, but...
Seinfeld already did it!
"I will NOT compromise MY integrity!"
I think I may actually like Extras even more than Seinfeld / Curb though.
it's hardly a fair comparison when there's only been 7 episodes so far.
is the greatest thing ever. ever. extras is good but its clearly no curb.
South Park+The Office>The Simpsons+Family Guy>Extras>Trigger Happy TV>Everything else
That's just crazy.
the look between Andy & Maggie at the end was heartbreaking. Orlando was superb with his Johnny Depp obsession bordering on repressed homosexuality.
the digs at other comedians were stunning...Lenny Henry on the wall, Little Britain and Catherine Tate shirts, ahhhh.
don't want to be 'traynorized' at such an hour. I saw bits of it and I have to say that given the chance I could do better. PROLEFACT. Using famous actors to bolster up your piss poor ideas is a very week premise for a comedy show anyway. Drop dead, everyone involved. No, please do. Thanks
fucking buggery dafthead typo
the worst programme ever > trigger happpy tv
i'm too excited its friday!
is that Jason Alexander is better at being Larry David than Larry is.
Maybe I'll win for once.
comedy is in crisis.
CYE, peep show, extras (until last night) boosh, all good, all current.
did you not like Extras then? Didn't you know its practically treason to admit to beign disappointed with Rick Gervais's latest polished turd. TUT TUT
its getting very predictable. ooh the celebrity is actually the exact opposite of how we'd imagine them! oooh a racist joke! oooh some sarcasm.
still funny in places though.
one oer episode is better
usually i'm on your side BUT, the office IS funny. extras is funny too. its not THE funniest thing ever but it is FUNNY
but we all have to say its 'SERIOUSLY AWESOME' etc - Fair play for not agreeing with me. I just won't change my opinion on this cat faced fatty
George Costanza is seriously the best comic character that has ever been written. He's duplicitous, fixated on petty revenge for the smallest slights, cheap, unreliable, deceitful... he's me. And thanks to him, I'm okay with that. It's a pleasure!
I dare say better than Homer the Great.
it was a thoroughly average (at times, dire) evening of comedy. Am I getting old?
But you're not wrong. I think it was more that I had such high expectations. Thank fuck for Dragons Den. Funniest thing on BBC2 last night by a country mile.
is compelling television. I've been at my parents all week and I don't usually have a tv. Dragons Den is the only thing I've seen that has made me consider getting a tv.
who insists on giving us constant recaps: 'The dragons have been antagonised by Meredith's pitch' NO SHIT! I SAW IT 5 SECONDS AGO! Also, he has a huge clock on the floor of his dirty warehouse for no good reason. Weirdo.
