I'm really digging the new album artwork browser, nice touch!
it doesn't add them automatically add the pictures unless you put in all your credit card details and stuff, because they are evil
to put it all in myself, there is a another plugin you can use, can't remember its name now though..
but they won't let me :(
when you can get a decent mp3 player for less money/better battery life/bigger HD that plays formats that arn't a con like the ones you have to use from itunes.
Crablin will probably show up in a minute, and give facts and statistics that prove you wrong. iPods are great.
And the new itunes is sexy.
when they could shop in army shops and matalan.
Just a little silly.
I didn't say that was his point.
You piece os shit.
but browsing through 100s and 100s of albums by artwork doesn't make your computer run as good as it can do. Also, having lots of albums without the artwork so they all have the same picture looks rubbish :(
it's nothing like a fucking windows app.
this is the evolution of Aqua for 10.5 Leopard.
i use that in windows media player, it sucks right, and i cant seem to find how to turn it off. (i assume you can?)
but people with any programming know-how have been doing the same shit on Foobar for years.
US Airforce term from the Vietnam War, I believe.
top right hand corner under "view options". There's either Icon, Expanded Tile, or Details, change it to details. If you get rid of a load of columns when in detail mode to just show the basics (track number, track name, artist name, album name) then that makes it run a lot better too.
Finally iTunes doesent have an annoying gap between the songs. IM going to listen to the mars volta albums just because of this.
Does iTunes play WMVs and OGGs native yet? I don't see any reason to change from Winamp otherwise.
why would you want to play video in iTunes anyway? sure, they're building it into the package for the iTunes store, but software like VLC will ALWAYS be better at video.
as far as OGG goes. well, it's not all it's cracked up to be and has always been the iRiver owner's argument against the iPod.
the point being, who outside of the hyper-geek community even gives a shit what an OGG is?
The reason I own WinAmp is because I have tracks in all formats. If iTunes now plays music in all formats I'll probably swap over as I have to use WMP to MP3 all my albums right now.
But otherwise WinAmp is perfect.
The iRiver's argument against iPod is that iRiver has more features because it does. I don't know what weirdo freaks you've been speaking to.
i) it's even more of a bloated resource hog
ii) it doesn't like my audioscrobbler plugin
iii) It will only retrieve art for albums available in the itunes store, ie. not much.
iv) my ipod takes EVEN longer to sync.
My Ipod is taking forever to update.
it's updating the software on them and syncing base settings to work with the new device browser.
