the mightiest herb.
Its a herb innit - anyway shaders, Dill is the best one eVER EVER EVER!
Because it's the only one of which i will eat the raw leaves happily.
people who eat raw leaves are freaks.
i microwave my leaves
for the first time. i can now make curry. it makes me feel awesome about myself.
but, the jar of it wot i bought at tesco on monday has a black top and black and red label, ie beloinging to their spice range.
basil is the mightiest of herbs.
what do you use coriander leaves for?
and is that the basic distinction between herbs and spices? leaves and seeds?
are you serious?
and just use the ground up stuff.
uses Coriander leaves. They're green and look a bit like flat-leaf parsely. Also known as Cilantro. Pretty common really.
Hmm what else uses them. Indian food sometimes. Chinese food (floating in soups for example) infact lots of asian food in salads and soups and with noodles and so forth.
Coriander seeds are obviously a different bit of the plant and great for curries.
Make sure you buy the actual whole seeds and grind them yourself if possible, they'll taste much fresher and have a lovely smell...
spanish and portuguese recipes, and probably a lot of other european stuff too
What should I make with coriander leaves now? Talk of food is making me hungry
don't mean to hijack the thread but last night i ate a curry from a restaurant called coriander .... and it was absolute unforgiveable shit
on barlow moor road? it looks a bit shit, to be fair.
nah, it's on that grotty side street off wilmslow road in withington ....
Is a better herb.
a taragon man
oh lord oh lord
that's orr-ee-gah-no, not or-eh-gah-no
nor is it cilantro which them americans call coriander, which is one of the most evil herbs around.
It's mayonaise. Mayonaise goes on anything.
you haven't tried it?
mightier than the sword for sure.
