some people say yes, others no.
im a yes person
I just knocked you over the face... WITH THE JOKE HAMMER.
No, but then I'm the kind of guy who wants eggs to go off really quickly, so I would say that.
see what happens......
Therefore, it must be correct to put them in there.
for Creme Eggs though.
Cold, firm chocolate is wrong.
they're not stored in the fridge/chilled sections in shops?
And, on that particular issue, I wholeheartedly agree with Kryton
Also: salad dressing doesn't need to be refrigerated until it has been opened: fact.
DELIA never keeps hers in the fridge.
I'll have one of my turns
feels like yesterday
dont worry about it.
actually my last one was about a literary nightclub
NEVER GO TO A LITERARY NIGHCLUB
Oh yeah. So how was it? Exactly like a 'Literary Nightclub' would sound, or fun?
it was like going to a gig, except there was no music.
or going to a comedy club, without the people being funny.
What it was most like was sitting in a school assembly while they have a really ernest person come in and read poetry and play you world music.
I don't think I'll go again.
My apath-o-meter just exploded. You owe me £7.99.
Hell, swap "read poetry" for "recite parable involving Jesus and Friends before handing out 'Student Of The Week' awards to mentally retarded children to make them feel better about smelling of wee" and that actually does describe a typical assembly at my primary school. Complete with pan-pipe music. Yes, exactly.
end up being about something completely different
they aren't in the fridge at th supermarket, and they cook so much better from room temperature.
although my family keeps bread in the fridge, so..don't go by me.
but today, i spent AGES looking for eggs in the supermarket, and they were in an uncooled area.
and im staying at a friends house, so they remain unrefridgerated, as is his wont.
to put eggs in the fridge (thus incurring an energy cost to yourself) there must be a justification for doing it.
I can see none.
In fact putting them in the fridge makes them more viscous, which makes it harder to introduce air into them (or things made using them) flat cakes, dense scrabled eggs etc....
Keep them out of the fridge.
Don't be sucked in by fridge manufacturers putting egg holders in their humming cupboards of joy.
Q. If your mobile phone had an egg holder, would you carry an egg around with you in your pocket?
A. not unless you were a total idiot
I like it :D
I think I should work in marketting
I feel cool
But on the other hand, you share a name with a band that features Rick Wakeman prominently. That is hella uncool.
and I am rick wakeman. So therefore... I dunno... Something...
Rick Waterman less so....
A Rick Wakeman/Pete Waterman two-headed popbeast.
That's the worst thing I've ever heard!
when you boil them they crack more easily if they're cold.
yes, yes it is
Me, today, at school.
Biology is the best science as you can look at pictures of vaginas.
...and dissect them.
You are supposed to boil them with cold water that is heated up, not put them in already boiling water.
Did you take that advice from one of your leaflets?
Boiling water! You just have to be careful. Holding the eggs in your hands for a minute to warm them works fine. Putting them in the fridge is a baaaaaaaaaad move though.
Hold a chicken over a pan of boiling water
as i do with traynor about the fact that cold firm chocolate is simply wrong.
i feel rather agreeable tonight. mostly.
obviously. *makes tongue by chin uuuuueueuieghgh* noise
you should store them all in one big basket.
a stitch in time? how the hell do you do that, and what 'nine' things does it save? hmm?
"too many cooks spoil the broth"
who the hell eats broth?
bet you've never done an airfix either
or watched top of the pops
But everyone does.
they think they probably won't eat 12 eggs in 3 days and so want their eggs to last a bit longer
b) why wouldn't you eat 12 eggs in three days anyway?
Eggs is brillyant.
a) obviously nobody at all. anywhere. that's why they still sell them in 12s
b) constipated people.
ate 5 hard boiled eggs
and then was violently sick
hen thing made from wire that is not in the fridge.
why did it go there?
IN the hen itself
If you dont freeze them they will not fertilize
i put them in the fridge cos my mum did when i was growing up. my housemate leaves them on a counter.
if we weren't meant to put eggs in the fridge why do fridges have that little bit for holding individual eggs (which i never use)
people such as yourself
