can you copyright words?
I came up with the names for a fashion label's collection and I made up some words for the garments
One of the garments names was a 'trend watch-word' in one of the bigger swedish fashion label's current trend guides
I feel like I should do something about it but I don't know what to do...
It's called Metamorpheus (so I kinda stole the word(s) in the first place
but the other company in question definately had people at our show and who saw the catalogue or lookbook where all the names were printed - that was february
Someone in their trend team just obviously liked the word and wrote it in their sketchbook or something because there is a page in their trend guide with just the word "metamorpheus?" scribbled on the blank page of a diary
-that was today
how very odd
trading standards? or is that just silly?
it's just that the show we did in february was the collection which is in the shops in two weeks time
so (some) people are gonna think we stole the word off them
forget it - what a boring thread
but I have Estonian beer, Dutch grass and Italian Ice-cream on my desk in front of me so I'm not really feeling any pain over it
ha ha now your just called PIG
Now you're just called 'eak'!
Where is the love ?
Where is the love ?
Where is the love, the love, the love ?
A. Ive got it all, bastards.
chyah, i just utilise it! Besides, didn't david invent it? ;)
and yes, i liek, totally know how you feel. but i dont think there is a way to copyright words, unfortunately. what are people going to do with them? sell them?
but I don't know if this applies here.
I was fucking saying that years before she figured out that the concept of temperature could be linked to the quality of events, people and objects. Fuck Paris Hilton in every way imaginable.
Your mum is hot.
