Oh no. Peer pressure. GREG MUST SAY YES TO CASUAL QUESTION OR GREG WILL DIE OF SHAME.
What does that taste like?
that kid is clearly gonna become a junkie
he's an ethnic innie
.. or maybe i've forgotten what peer pressure is.
five friends last week. They all took e. It was noting special, just sitting in listening to music. One of them knows class a's don't agree with her and can cause problems. I asked her why she was taking it and she said 'because I want to fit in'. So yes, it can be a problem. I'm glad she left before the ketamine came out. I sat drinking water and taking photos of them snorting ketamine. After six years off drugs even I still felt the urge to stick ketamine up my beak and smoke salvia, two things I've never taken.
Drugs are bad kids, nnyokay. Well, not really, drugs are fecking great but if you take too many you end up.....erm, what were we talking about again ?
if the drug doesn't agree with her and she feels peer pressure - she really shouldn't be hanging out with those people.
Once you reach that age everyone who doesn't take drugs are either goodygumdrops who'll want to take you to church or damaged muppets like me. What's a girl to do ?
to be able to say 'no thanks' if she doesn't feel like it. don't think her friends would mind her saying that.
i do like certain drugs tho :) i think greg from the ad should say yes, and have a bit of fun hehe..
i think that greg needs to lighten up a bit, have a bit of fun
he might discover that glowsticks really can be quite cool hahaha
but neither of those things. I'm starting a new sect - people who pressure you into taking the same stuff that they are, are embarrased about their consumption and want to make themselves feel better by knowing that someone else is taking it; I may shorten this.
vive le revolution.
Can we start a campaign right now?
"drugs can be great, but don't be a moron, make sure you do them with someone who knows what they're on about and won't give you weed laced with nail varnish or anything"
I need to work on it
i blogged about it.
oh well. www.transform-drugs.blogspot.com
it was about the 'dope dash' game on the frank website.
What are they doing out in daylight?
How did they get the motivation to get off the sofa?
None of that matters right now. Just avoid them or you’ll get stoned yourself and suffer a fate worse than double maths.
I'm 24 and have never taken drugs, simply 'cos I've never wanted to.
I know several people who take pills or snort coke or smoke spliffs or whatever. I'm frequently around when they're doing so. Every now and then people ask me if I want anything. I say "no". They nod or shrug and we continue the conversation.
No-one's ever tried to put pressure on me, no-one's ever expressed that they're especially bothered that I'm not doing it and they are.
In short I've never ever experienced any peer pressure whatsoever.
peer pressure doesn't (in my case) and shouldn't exist if you're with friends. i like my friends.
and to be fair it's far stronger when you're young and in school.
But yeah, if I'm in a pub I'm very likely to pick an alcoholic drink over a non-alcoholic one.
That's an example of peer pressure right there, and it doesn't involve anyone even saying "Oh go on, have a beer" or anything like that.
And I frequently go out with the intention of not drinking only to discover I do.
But if I'm being honest no-one's pressuring me to do so - it's my own decision. But I do see what you mean.
